Pearls POV
"A-Amethyst?!" Using my very own spear, the Jasper had impaled Amethyst through her back, and through her gem. She was facing me, her eyes wide and pained. The Jasper pulled the spear out, gave a chuckle, and ran over to fight Garnet, who had taken down one of the Jaspers.
Amethyst collapsed into my arms, looking at me with her tired, teary eyes. "P-pearl..I," her voice was small and weak, as her body was. I couldn't say anything; I was shaking so much out of shock. "...s-s..so glad...I-I could...I-I...,"
I simply hugged her tightly. "Amethyst, I'm sorry!"
"I..p-protected...you..."
"It should have been me..."
"P-Pearl...I l-love you...I...I...," Peices of her gem fell of onto her stumach. "Amethyst..." I put my hand into a fist and smashed it into her gem, hard. It shattered, and she poofed away. I looked at the gem shards that remained, digging through them, I found it. The peice of gem tech, exactly were I thought it was.
