Sorry for not posting chapters in a while! I've been busy cuz it was the last couple weeks of school. But now its summer, (woo!) So I'll post a lot more! -Le Author

Pearl's P.O.V
"W-what?" I stammer, but she's already running at me. I roll out of the way, summoning my spear from my gem.
"We don't have to fight, Amethyst!"
Her expressionless eyes stare at me. I remember how her eyes seemed to almost twinkle when she looked at me. I never understood that, but now I just want it back.
Not knowing what to do, I dodge her heavy attacks and don't fight back. I didn't want to hurt her, not like the last fight we had here.
But then I saw it. A flashing device on her gem, attatched probably by those Amethysts, I concluded.
I run at her, narrowly dodging more attacks. In one swift motion, I grab the device and pull it hard, forcing it off. Then I drive my spear into her stumach.
That normal look came back to her eyes as she hang there, impaled. Then they widened, and she poofed back into her gem.
