"Girls, wake up. Its almost time for dance." Mom says.
"5 more minutes." Maddie groans.
She laughs, opening the curtains.
Light streams through the room and I turn over, pulling a pillow over my head.
"I already gave you 10 more minutes because none of you woke up when I first tried. You have 30 minutes to get ready and we'll stop at Dunkin' Donuts on the way."
"Donuts!" Kalani says, getting up.
"That's one. Five more to go. Like I said, 30 minutes for all of you to get ready." She leaves the room and I sigh.
Maddie gets up, followed by Chloe, then Paige. I sit up and shake Brynn, who doesn't wake up.
"Brynn, get up. Brynn!" She groans and turns over.
"You know, if we're late to dance because of a sleepover, Ms Abby won't let us have any more." She jumps up, looking around.
"I'm up!" I giggle and go upstairs to brush my teeth and get dressed.

"Girls, time to go!" Mom yells from downstairs.
We all run out of the bathroom's and bedroom's and down the stairs, following her out of the door. She drives to Dunkin' Donuts and through the drive-thru.
"What kind of donuts do we want?"
"Glaze, chocolate, and strawberry with sprinkes." Kalani answers quickly.
"Sound good?"
"Sounds delicious." I pipe in from the very back seat where me, Brynn, and Paige are making musical.ly's.
Chloe, Kalani, and Maddie are in the other back seat, talking about dance.
"Thank you." Mom grabs the bag and pulls away from the window.
She hands the donuts to the girls up front then to us and we pick out 2 donuts each.
"Hurry up. Dance starts in 5 minutes." Mom says, pulling into the parking lot.
We hurry out of the car, Maddie taking the empty box with her.
"Welcome to dance. What's that?" Ms Abby says when we walk in.
"What's what?" Maddie says, slowly moving the box behind her back.
"That thing behind your back."
"Just my hands. You know, to be respectful." Brynn busts out laughing and me soon after.
"Its a donut box, Ms Abby. We didn't have time for anything else." Maddie finally admits.
"That's what granola bars are for."
"We ran out..." Maddie says.
"But you just went to the store yesterday. Why didn't you get more?"
"We didn't know until we got home. No biggie."
"I'll let it slide this time. No more donuts before dance. Say it with me: no donuts before dance, no donuts before dance." We join in, me and Brynn still laughing hysterically.
"Thank you. Now come on, get stretching!" We run in the studio, seeing the other girls already stretching.
"How was the sleepover?" Kendall says, obvious sarcasm in her voice.
"It was fun. I'm sad you all couldn't be there." Maddie answers, sitting on the floor in between Kendall and Chloe.
"Yeah me too. Maybe we can go to lunch today?" JoJo says.
"Sure, that sounds fun. Its Greg's day to pick up the twins."
"Less talking, more stretching!" Ms Abby says.
Me and Brynn giggle and continue stretching for 10 more minutes.
3 Hours Later
"Have fun at lunch! See you tomorrow." Brynn says, letting me go.
"Until the next day, best friend!" I reply in a dramatic voice.
"What will the overnight bring us?" She says in the same voice.
I search my brain for something else to say then start laughing.
"Mackenzie, come on!" Mom says.
I smile one last time at Brynn and get in the car.
