Mackenzie's POV

Did you hear the news? No dance today. I wonder why.

I read the text from Brynn and respond.

Duh! Why wouldn't I?  It was a group message with everyone.

Haha you're so funny. Do you know why?

No idea. Mom said we have to wait and see.

That's what ms Abby said to me.

She didn't tell you.

Bothering ms Abby about why there's not practice today. She still won't tell me.

Good. You probably don't need to know.

Omg, she told me it involved Ariana and Charlie!!!! Maybe Ariana's pregnant.

Not likely. I asked her when she was gonna have kids and she said at least not for 5 years. Its probably another concert. Ask her. You can tell if she's lying because she doesn't answer.

OMG, it is! She didn't answer!

I asked if we could tell everyone else and she said no. 😒😒 she won't even tell me what time it is.

Why do you need to know? Just make sure you look amazing. What're you wearing?

I put my phone away and run upstairs to my room. I open my laptop, then get on Skype and call Brynn.

"Hey!" She says.

"Hi. 5 minutes on the clock."

"Yeah. Starting in 3."

"2."

"1." We both run inside our closets and starts throwing clothes out.

5 Minutes Later

"Time!" Brynn calls.

I put my hands up and walk out of my closet.

"Got yourself a nice pile of clothes there, don't you?" Brynn says when j sit back at my desk.

"Yeah. Seems like you do too."

"You wanna go first?" I ask.

"Sure." She stands up and walks to her pile of clothes.

"I already found the perfect outfit. The heart sweatshirt with black tights and those black tennis shoes." She looks at me then the clothes and pulls out everything I said.

"Perfect. Now its your turn. How about that yellow tank top with the white jean jacket and polka dot skirt?"

"Shoes?"

"Those Converse."

"Beautiful. Were so talented."

"That's why we do this."

"Where's Maddie?"

"Last time I checked, she was taking a nap in her room. Hey, when did you go back home?"

"Yesterday. It was hard to know if Abby was lying because I was texting her. She didn't respond so that's how I knew."

"Yeah, she's a tricky one."
