Hello Hello

Savannah's P.O.V.

2 months later

My alarm went off, and I reached over, my hand groping around before I finally found it and slammed down on the off button.

With a groan, I shoved away my warm comforter and swung my feet over onto the floor. Padding over the uneven, rough floor I made my way into the bathroom. I turned on the light switch, and it took a few seconds for the lights to flicker on.

I stripped off my clothes and climbed into the shower, grabbing at the big shampoo bottle I had picked up last night.

I had just gotten back in town after spending the rest of the summer in London, and had arrived at my new fixer-up place last night.

When Shaun and Kaylee had left for college, and John had gone to live with his foster family, my parents sold their old house and had let all of the servants go.

My mother was worried about where I'd live when I'd ask her to move back here, again, to finish off High School, so I'd bought an older house that was cheap and not in the best shape so I could spend the rest of the time fixing it up.

I had decided to come back to the states at the end of my junior year last year. I had convinced my parents fairly easily, though, I had a feeling they already had a ticket booked for my flight back home for this evening.

After my shower, I dried off and finished getting ready. I put on a light blue summer dress, a gray cardigan, and matching gray sandals. I slid a light blue headband through my summer bleached hair, grabbed my backpack, and decided I was good.

I walked over into the other room and grabbed toast out of the fridge. After putting my toast through the toaster, that the previous owner had given me, five times on the highest setting, I ate it and then checked my phone.

School started in twenty minutes, and it was a ten minute drive. I wanted to be there early though to get my schedule and find my locker before school started.

After locking the front door, I climbed into my Lexus and reminded myself that I had to drive on the right side of the street.

I pulled up in front of the school and looked at it for a few seconds, just sitting in my car.

This was a small town where almost everyone knew everyone. There used to be another school, but after that one went out of business from so few students going there, they turned it into an office building, and all the kids started going here. All of the kids in town went to high school here, and I was about to be thrown into the mix.

I sighed, and climbed out of my car. The sun was rising and the air was still crisp, though it would heat up soon.

I walked through the front doors, and I passed by a few people in the hallways. I made my way over to the front office desk where I short lady with mousy brown hair and big brown eyes was working. She looked to be in her fifties and when I approached her she asked, "You're Savannah right dearie?" I nodded and asked, "How did you know?"

"Well, you're the only new senior and you look too old to be a freshman," she gave me a smile, then added, "Plus, you look a lot like your sister." I grinned, my cheeks reddening a bit. "My name is Jean. Here is your schedule, and any other information you may need," she said handing me my papers. I looked them over, and after a thank you, made my way through the school to my locker.

After putting my extra things in my locker, I looked over my schedule. First period was English, so I decided to go over there. I had five minutes until the first bell rang and I didn't want a tardy my first day.
