"Phalina? What are you doing here so early?!" Barry exclaimed,surprised.
Phalina jerked around from working on a computer and gave a small smile.
"I just got a lead in the Mark Patton case. Why?" she answered, her emerald green eyes bright.
Barry gave a quick glance at the hidden Flash suit. Hidden. Good. She didn't need to know about the other part of him. He shrugged.
"Just wondering." He looked around,"Say, where's Joe?" he sat his bag down along with his cup of coffee.
This time Phalina shrugged.

In came Joe looking worried and hurried. His tie undone, shirt partly tucked and a mad worry in his eyes. He looked at her then at Barry. He said only one word: "ZOOM."

"Where? Here?! Now?!"
His questions were answered when Zoom flashed in in front of Barry. His coal like eyes stared down madly at Barry. Phalina froze in awe.

"Barry." Zoom said, his voice raw and deep.
Barry looked at Phalina then to Joe.
"Yes, Barry. Worry about keeping your friends safe- we all know how well you do that." gargled Zoom, his mask not showing his smile, but they all knew he was.
Then unexpectedly, Phalina stood up not even shaking and pointed a perfectly manicured nail at Zoom.
"You killed my father. You killed him when you killed all of the CCPD police officers! How could you?! How could a monster like you even live with that kind of guilt always on your shoulders?! You're sick! You know that? You're absolutely sick as heck!" Phalina exclaimed, clearly mad.
"Shut up, stupid girl." Zoom angrily demanded, eerily staring at Phalina in the eye.
He looked back at Barry and smiled.
"I guess you haven't told your little friend here, what and who you really are?"
Barry's nostrils flared.
"Its my business on what I tell who. It's none of your concern." Barry glowered,"Now, what do you want? Speed? Well, you took it all when you used wally as bait, so I have no more for you to steal. "
Zoom let out a blood curling laugh. He stopped then took a step closer to Barry. Barry shoved Phalina behind himself to protect her.
"No, Barry. Why would I want you if you're not juiced up with speed..." He looked at Phalina,"...Flash? The reason I'm here, is because, if you are no longer a usuable card in the deck," Zoom held up one of his clawed fingers, sparkling with blue lighting streaks,"Then why must I let you live on? All you do is cause trouble."
A second later, Zoom whirled around to throw a Thunder Bolt at the helpless Barry. Joe and Phalina screamed in warning. But with Barry having no speed, he was too slow to do anything. Zoom left with a menacing laugh.
"Good-bye Barry...Forever." he gargled, then gone.
