Me and Emery sat next to each other, obviously, and we sat in the back of the room. Everyone was talking amongst themselves. Me and Emery were talking about our costumes for tonight. But I didn't tell him mine.
Mr. Baker sat down at his desk " alright class settle down" he said and everyone hushed. He's kinda scary so everyone did what he said. " today we will be doing partner projects!" He did jazz hands as if these were fun. The whole class went " ugh". Emery grabbed my hand in reference to us being partners, We both smiled and I kissed his cheek. " I usually let you guys choose your partners but today..." Mr. Baker
paused. Omgersh really. Please tell me he didn't choose the partners. " I choose the partners" he said excitedly and once again the class went " ugh". Me and Emery both whined "NO!!". Mr. Baker just gave us the stank eye, then grabbed his paper from his desk. He called out each pair,

Wait a minute isn't Eva Emerys old girlfriend. I raised my hand, needing to ask a question. " yes, miss Blackwell" mr. Baker rolled his eyes. I ask questions a lot in class. " um, this is just for the week, right?" I asked. I hope. " nope this for.the rest of the year" he said as I looked at Emery with a puppy dog face. " I'm just kidding" mr. Emery's POV*
ugh great I have to partner with Eva ( my x). Carlys partnering with Ricky, he was staring at her...Like a lot. During class he was staring at us. He better not like her! Eva was talking but I wasn't paying any attention to her. I was just staring at Carly and Ricky watching their every move. And of course mr. Baker put Liam with his girlfriend. He's always liked Liam the most out of me,Ricky, and Liam, I don't know why but he does. " Emery? Emmeerryyyyy?!?!" Eva snapped her fingers in my face. I snapped out of my trance sort of thing and said " huh what" she caught me off guard.
" so class your assignment for this week will be that you and your partner need to come up with a presentation about a president of the United States" Mr. Baker said then the bell rang and class ended
