I was laying on my bed playing with tucker, my dog, when my phone dinged. It was Luke from school.
Luke: party tonight, you in?😏
Emery: YEAHHH can I come early to help set up and stuff

Carly's POV*
I heard a knock at the door and ran down stairs. I ran to the door and opened it. I was surprised to see emery. " hay I didn't know you lived here" he said smiling, " yah I do. Uhh.. What're you doing here" I blushed. Before he could answer Michael came up behind me and said "Carly! What are you doing?There's dishes that need to be cleaned before the party!" I turned around to him and sighed as I walked into the kitchen.
Emerys POV*
"Carly! What are you doing?There's dishes that need to be cleaned before the party!" Michael practically yelled at Carly. Who does he think he is. "Do you two know each other" Luke asked walking into the room where me and Michael were in. " kinda, I mean we met today. She was on a run and my dog chased her and I chased my dog and that's how we met" I said sheepishly. They don't need to know that I like her. They can't know.
