This is too much funny

For those of you incapable of recognising sarcasm, the title and following grammatical inaccuracies are an example.

I dunno if peeps on here are like ultra sensitive or something, or just super easy to wind up, but stating a fact or opinion is not an argument. Do you know what an argument is?

"FO FUCK SAKE BILL I TOLD U 2 TAKE OUT THE TRASH"

"WHATEVER STACEY I DONT WANT TO"

"YOU GODDAMN LAYABOUT"

"WHATEVER STACEY UR PIES R HORRIBLE"

^ that is an argument.

Idk if any of you stalk me enough to know that I posted on a certain someone's wall asking if said someone has any chill, or if they are going to continue to clog up my inbox  (with irrelevant and uninteresting updates on their life. Like, I get it, you're 15 with 15 year old problems. Chill out! )

This person and her followers/minions/other angry 15 year olds (why y'all so angry????) seemed to get 1000000x offended my this comment and thus thought that writing essays to me, publicly and privately, would do any good. I thought about taking it seriously but legit lost interest in like 0.5 seconds. It's so much more entertaining to rile people up and see them try to roast you...like bitch my ego bigger than my head it not gon work sit yo ass down

Yes, yes this is true, she does. But, unlike you (who must do this since it ran through your mind) I don't give a fuck.

Ya see, this is the way wattpad works. People, including myself, come on here to read easily accessible and often non-complex stories with recycled plot lines. It's easy reading. And the easier your story and the more obnoxious or in-your-face "author chan" is (I just had a heart attack typing that) the more reads you get. And therefore the more followers you get. The more advanced or longer your chapters and style is, generally, the fewer reads you get.

And that's fine!! I understand!!! I'm not on here to read complex stories!!! That's what I buy published books for!!!

Because readers don't come on to wattpad looking for immersing plot lines, they come on here looking for ease. Or to share their stories. Fanfiction mostly.

I followed this girl because her stories were just that - easily accessible, easy to read recycled plot lines that I enjoyed, to an extent. The writing was a bit cringey from time to time and she, like others, used "those phrases" that make me vom, but hey that's personal opinion.

I take pride in my writing. I write well, and that's not my ego talking - I have won prizes for my writing, I have a number of published short stories, and have recently signed a book deal for one of my original novels. So I know that my writing is, undoubtably, quality writing.

The reason I don't get as many reads is because, over time, I've cared less for them. My most popular book was Ethere book 1 until I took it down and re-uploaded it, but currently it's Hybrid. And hybrid was popular because it's a fanfiction credited and read by the author of the original novel it's based off.

I don't interact with my readers outside of comments/pms, and I don't update often. That's why I have few followers and reads.

But as I've said - I have enough faith and pride in my ability that I don't need that kind of validation. I like it, it's nice to know people enjoy my stuff, but to go as far as to say I'm jealous because this girl has more reads than me and that's why I unfollowed her??? That's silly chat. I don't care enough! This girl was clogging up my inbox and taking up phone space!! Do you know how hard it is to delete all those emails????

But thanks for the exposure, person who's name won't be mentioned! And someone pmed me saying that my books are inaccurate. Thanks for trolling through all of them and putting up my read count! :)

(Side note - how can original stories be inaccurate?)

In any case, I'll continue laughing and putting diamonds in my ears. And basking in real-life praise of my work.
