Chapter Eight

Bucky is bae. That is all that needs to be said.

Bucky hit the elevator start button, and I slid down the wall. I almost lost it. My first day home. I should have stayed over there.

I put my head in my hands. The cuncussion and other head injuries caused a major head ache to start.

"Sage?" Nat gently said once the doors had opened. They all seemed to know why I panicked.

"I'm fine. I am going to go to bed." I quietly said when I had finally looked up at everyone.

I pushed off the ground to my feet. All of a sudden, the room started spinning, and I hit the ground before blackness over came me.

I felt someone changing an IV bag out on my left side before a voice spoke up, "Is she going to be okay?" I believe it was Clint.

"I think the stress was too much for her. She will be okay once she wakes up." Bruce is the one doctoring me. I should have known.

I tried to open my eyes, but they were too heavy. "We need to let her rest. Jarvis will tell us when she wakes up." Tony said from the opposite side of Clint's voice.

"Agreed." Was all that Bruce said before footsteps faded from the room.

After hours of re-thinking all my actions in the Marines, a set of heavy footsteps reached my ears. Maybe they are going down to the lab or something.

The footsteps turned into my area, and made their way to be beside me. It might be Clint again.

I felt a warm hand grab mine. The person silently sat there with my hand in their's for a good two or three hours.

Finally they gently put my hand back, and kissed my forehead before exitting the room.

I continued to lay there pondering who it could have been. The hands were too big for Nat, too calloused for Bruce. Clint would have said something. That only leaves a couple more, and I don't know which one would do that.

Steven might have. He seems sweet enough to do that, and Thor would have his booming voice going. Loki has his head to far up his ass to do it. Bucky already helped me today, so it probably wasn't him.

I will ask Jarvis when I wake up.
