Clint finally wondered off after everyone came up negative. I think almost everyone answered. Some must still be at the tower considering the time.

I wiggled underneath all the garbage and leaves trying to find a little comfort. I will be here for a while. I closed my eye briefly and started a game plan.

1. Find car

2. Take said car

3. Find somewhere low and out of sight.

4. Buy home.

5. Start Family or re-enlist

There we go. Problems solved. Step One is in motion.

I hope a hobo doesn't try and sleep on me. Or eat me. My cover will be blown when I have to kill it.

I relaxed under the junk for a good three or so hours. It should be sunrise in two and a half hours.

I need to be on the road by nine o'clock. That should put me far away from here by nightfall. My lucky duck self still has my money and credit cards tucked away in the lining. So no stealing food or gas!

Interrupting my brilliant af plan, a very cold and hard hard wrapped around my ankle and pulled me from beneath my cover spot.

I flailed some, but it was no use. "Yo! This is my garbage pile. Buzz off." I kicked at his shin with my free foot.

"Really, Ms. Baker?"

Really? Couldn't it have been a hobo? I glared up at the man's shadow. "Really, Bucky? I was trying to have a relaxing morning until you showed up." I growled and scrambled to get out of his hold. Of course, his grip remained tight around my ankle to the point of discomfort. Not pain, just discomfort.

He slightly chuckled before dragging me back towards the tower. "AYE! Let's settle this, huh? I give you my soul in return for my freedom. Oh wait I don't have a soul. Never mind." I cackled to myself because he just kept pulling me down the sidewalk.

"I found her. On way back." He said into his mic before stopping and turning to me.

"Why did you run?" He lifted my dirty body from the ground before tossing me over his shoulder. I grunted when my ribs hit his muscular shoulders.

"I don't want to be there. I want my own freedom." I shuffled on his shoulder. Attempting to get his grip to loosen, which it never did.

"Good catch, Mr. Barnes." The door man grinned at me once Bucky passed by him. I glared back and mouthed some unpleasant words which he laughed off.

This elevator and I are starting to have a bad relationship.

"Please put me down." I asked and tapped him on the butt. He jumped and quickly sat me down before turning his beet red face towards the door.

I snickered, "You don't like your butt being touched?" I grabbed at it again only to get my hands swatted away and a killer glare.

It might actually be fun to stay here. I can mess with Bucky and Steve. Didn't Nat tell me he was super naive? I sure hope so.

I grinned up at him for the smile to drop when the door opened and I was punched in the face.
