Malakai POV
Our second day as seniors. Amari hasn't talked to me since I told her about me and Tez cousin. Momma told me to just give her time. Yesterday she was on the phone with some nigga named Dre. I really gotta fix shit with her man. What's really weird is the four of all have 3rd together. I was sitting in the back with Tez and ironically Amari was sitting in front of Kay on the other side if the room.

"So what'd your girl say ?" Montez asked me and I looked towards Amari.

"She ain't talking to me." I sighed.

"Alright class this is the senior survey." The teacher said putting a paper on everyone's desk"You'll take it 3 times this year.Since its only the first week. Your first assignment will be a project. On getting to know one another. I'll choose partners and give and explanation sheet later for now. Pick an partner and do the survey" She said smiling "Place it in the bin at the end of class"

She sat in her desk and started working on papers . I looked at Amari start writing and Kay got up and walked to us. She sat in front of Tez and looked at me.

"Did I mess up you guys relationship?" She asked Sadly. I shrugged and got up walking towards Amari.

I sat behind her and tried to figure out what I was gonna say. I looked over her shoulder watching her write. She had really pretty handwriting.

"You can stop watching me now.. I know you're there." She sighed .

"Baby look." I grabbed her chin and she snatched away from me."Baby girl I'm sorry. I swear. I didn't mean for it to happen."

"I think we should just take a break." She simply said. My eyes widened.

"A break? Baby I can't do that. I love you. And I fucked up. I know. But Amari we can fix it ."

"Malakai. I just need to know where I am with my self right now. You can do what it is that you do. I won't be mad seriously. " She said again

"Can we talk about this in the hall?" I ask her.

"Nothing to talk about " She chuckled before continuing to write in pink .

I sighed deeply."So this is it?" I asked and she didn't say anything.

I leaned down and kissed her cheek before getting up and going back to my desk. Kay looked at me sadly before heading back to her seat. She tapped on Amari. Amari looked at her coldly then glanced at me before turning back around.I leaned my head back in a deep sigh.

"Um ..She wanted to know if you wanted this back.." Kay sat my promise ring on my desk. I broke my promise.

Aubree POV.
I sat at the lunch table with my little sister. She had A lunch last year. But this year has C lunch with me. She came to see me before she went to go see her other friends. Amari has been down all fucking day. Even since she got back she been done. And she snaps at the smallest things. I'm glad she staying with me tho. I was snapped out of my thoughts by giggling. I looked up to see Keenan kissing on my little sisters neck. I raised my eye brow. My sister is just now a sophomore and Keenan is a junior...Who has quite the rep.

"Keenan Grey." I said ."I will personally tell Kai to fuck you up if you hurt my baby sister." I smile.

"I was already warned." He chuckled ."I won't hurt her . I swear."

"Aye sis" I heard and Micah slid next to me. I smiled looking at him."What's wrong with my sister in law?"

"I don't know" I shrugged. "I asked her repeatedly she doesn't even talk like she did"
