I pushed him back after a few seconds.

"Langston I can't do this." I say fighting back the tears."You hurt me."

"He hurt you too. Everyone deserves a second chance." he pleaded.

"He never put his hands on me ." I snap. He sighed deeply.

"You ever gonna forgive me for that?" He asked grabbing my hand.

"You beat me! Til I bled! And not just once! And you were sleeping with my sister for crying out loud." I chuckled sadly.

"Aubree. I'm sorry. I promise you baby girl. You give me a chance ,and I'll love you the way you need to be loved. I'll never put my hands on you again.Mami I swear!"

"Then my neice or nephew will be walking around calling my boyfriend daddy . I don't think so Langston." I rolled my eyes.

"Can we just smoke?" I asked getting frustrated. He nodded and passed the almost out blunt back to me.

After we finished smoking we went back into the house. My sister was sleep so I went over to Amari's room. She was up straightening her long thick hair.

"Montez cheated." I said trying not break down.

"No the fuck he didn't!"She shouted dropping the flat iron on her leg.and quickly pushing it off."Where da bullerman? Gona cuff him in da troat!" She said angrily. The Trini in her was evident.

"Mari calm down. I don't want no body over reacting." I wiped the tears.

"It happens to the best of us . " She said calming down."I know it hurts. So you holding in your tears. Ain't gonna help." She pulled me close in her arms just like I did for her. I laid into her chest and just cried.

"I got us some food." Micah said walking in. "Yo I swear to god I'll go fuck him up right now! " he said angrily..

"Boy hush . its just the hormones. She's on her monthly. " Amari said covering for Tez..

"In that case I got some food. Cheer up sis . Smoke a blunt."

"I got this Micah... Where is your brother?" I asked he shrugged and walked out.

"This isn't even the worse part. Langston basically just begged me to take him back. I'm so confused." I say sitting up.

"I'm not even if I know what love is anymore. " I wiped my tears. "I just want something real. I thought I had it." I said sadly.

" Just take a few days to get over it. I know it hurts but the pain don't last forever."

I couldn't even say anything about hurting to her because she's experienced so much. Guess I'll have to wait it out.
