Beach Day with Josh

"You ready to go?" Josh called from the living room. You didn't reply because you were basically debating whether or not you should say your not feeling well and ruin the day, or just go and try to have fun. Then you heard footsteps coming towards the door until it opened. "What's wrong? Aren't you going to put a bathing suit on?" You then saw Josh in a black, white, and red bathing suit on with nothing on top. He looked great, fit and ready for a day at a beach. While you...well you had your pajamas on still. "Nothing, I was about to put one on." You said going to your closet. You looked through and found one that looked like it wasn't that revealing. You slipped it on and took one last look at yourself in the mirror before going out to the living room were Josh was with a cooler and sunglasses on grabbing his keys. You never really let Josh see you in anything that really showed your legs or chest but today was the day I guess. You walked out feeling less confident than ever and Josh quickly turned his head to look you up and down. "Wow...you look great." He said smiling and walking over to you to pick up your hands. "Thanks I guess." You said shrugging and looking at the floor. "Hey, I mean it. You're literally the prettiest girl I've ever seen and I'm more than lucky to have you be my girlfriend." He said while lifting up your chin softly to look at him. You then gave him a small smile as he grabbed your hand and went to the car. "Alright...did we forget anything?" He asked. "Food and drinks, towels, sunscreen, sunglasses, extra clothes?" You said as you saw him nod at everything you said. "Then I guess were all set!" You said smiling at him. He then smiled back and started the car. Then we were on the road to the beach. "Is it still me that makes you sweat?" Josh sang. "Am I who you think about in bed?" You sang back giggling at Josh's dancing. You guys then sang back and forth to different types of songs from Blink-182 to My Chemical Romance to Beyoncé. Even some of his songs. But the funniest part to you was when Josh tried to rap Heavydirtysoul while you rapped it perfectly. These were the moments that you took for granted. When Josh genuinely made you happy. And you would never know how to thank him enough for that. When you guys got there you looked around at all the girls and realized that you didn't look anything like them. They had curves in places that you didn't. And they all looked like supermodels. Instantly you felt way less confident than what you did before. You sat down and looked at the waves when you felt Josh's arm around your shoulder. You looked at him and gave him a little smile but then continued looking at the waves crashing against the shore. "You know your the prettiest girl on this whole entire beach, right? And that none of these girls could even compare to you?" He said looking at you and not breaking eye contact. "Well...I mean...Josh, you could literally get any girl here." You said shrugging. "So what? Who did I come here with again? You. Y/N I honestly think I love you. I would never go for another girl when I can have the perfect one right here." He said. "I love you too Josh...and thanks." You said to him smiling. "Now lets go in the water." He said while smiling and getting up. He then held out his hand for you to take and led you to the water where you guys basically just had a water fight and built a sand castle. When you guys had to leave you both were pretty bummed. But when you guys got home you were both very tired. You just fell on the bed and so did Josh. Then you both went to a deep sleep from that fun day you both had.
