You and Josh were in Ohio for Christmas staying with his parents, and all your life you've been living in California. It doesn't take a genius to know it pretty much never snows there, so you've never seen snow before. And tonight the weather forecast said that you should be getting about 3-5 inches. You were so excited you could hardly wait. "Josh, can we go outside and play in the snow when it's here? And we can make a snowman and snow angels and have a snowball fight and-" Josh cut you off of your rambling. "Yes, we can do everything you want. Now please, just go to bed and soon enough the snow will be here. Okay?" He said. You realized then that it was 1 AM and you should go to bed. "Okay, thanks Josh." You said as he smiled and gave you a kiss on your forehead and turned off the light. You then curled up next to him and slowly drifted away in your thought about the fun day you were going to have the next day.

You slowly opened your eyes and looked around the room, you checked your phone and saw that it was 9:00 AM. As fast as you could you ran to the window to see the snow and what you saw was one of the most beautiful things on this earth. These beautiful little white crystals were falling from the sky so peacefully and you never wanted it to stop. "It's beautiful, isn't it?" You heard a deep voice say and realized it was Josh, noticing he just woke up. "It's so...beautiful." You said, almost lost for words. "Yup." He said stretching out his arms and yawning. "Well, I'm going to go take a shower and see what my moms making for breakfast, you have fun now." He said as he took his towel and walked to the bathroom. "Okay..." you said quietly not really paying any attention to what he said. After about 5 minutes of just blankly staring out the window at the snow you heard your stomach growl and the water stop in the shower. About a minute later Josh came out with a towel wrapped around his waist. "Aren't you bored of that?" He asked and you just shook your head no. "Well, why don't you go downstairs and see what smells so good and I'll get changed, okay?" He said and you nodded and went downstairs to see what momma dun was cooking. "Oh, hey Y/N." Laura said. "Hi, Josh wanted me to see what you were cooking down here." You said smiling. "Oh, well, I'm making pancakes and bacon for everyone. Are you excited about the snow?" She said and immediately she saw you smile wide. "Oh yeah I'm really excited, Josh said that we were going to go out in it after breakfast." You said. Laura then smiled and nodded. Then you heard a pair of feet run down the steps and into the kitchen. It was of course Josh and he sat down at the table. "Hey Y/N honey, can you set the table?" She asked you handing you silverware, plates, and napkins. "Of course." You said as you began to place them around. Josh smiled at you and you smiled back. "After breakfast we can run upstairs and put on our snow stuff." He said and you nodded excitedly.

After a lot of discussing fun times Josh has had in the snow Josh took both mine and his plates into the sink. "So, are you ready?" He said as he washed the dishes. "Yup." You said as you ran upstairs to put a couple shirts, pairs of socks, and pants on. Then you came back downstairs and saw that Josh was going up. "You look very warm." He said and you laughed. "Go put on your stuff!" You said and he laughed and ran up the stairs. You then got the rest of your gear on and so did he, then you were off. You guys went to the backyard and decided to make a snowman first. Josh made a regular snowball and started to roll it. Then it got too big for him to just roll it so both of you began to and then it was the perfect size for the base. He then made another snowball but instead of rolling it he threw it at you hitting you right in the face. "Jokes on you, it tastes good." You said as you licked some of the snow off your face. You then rolled a snowball and threw it at him hitting his shoulder. "Was that a sign to start a snowball fight?" He asked you. You giggled and threw another at him. "That's it!" He said as he got another snowball and ran at you. You ran away, but with Josh playing soccer and his running ability he caught up to you pretty quick. He smushed the snowball all over your face making you flushed with the cold. Both of you then went back and forth like that for awhile until you fell. You were laughing so much that you nearly forgot that you were freezing your ass off. He then fell next to you and wiped some of the snow off of your face. You never wanted this moment to end. Then Laura called you guys back inside for lunch. As soon as the word lunch was said you realized how hungry you were and ran inside, Josh not far behind. "Go wash up you two! I don't need all this snow in my house!" She said shooing is to go get changed. As we went up to Josh's room I sat down on his bed and began taking the layers of socks off. "That was a lot of fun Josh, thank you." You said and he smiled and said "No problem." And kissed you on the cheeks. "Love you." You said. "Love you too." He said and you realized that this would be a memory you'd never forget.
