Today's general cleaning day at the Poe-Robredo household, which meant fun times for the organizing aficionados both of them were. They spent the last couple hours putting back where things should be and now it's time to put new labels to new tool containers.
"Marunong ka naman gumamit ng label maker, no?" Grace said, handing Leni the said contraption.
Leni questioningly glared at her and raised an eyebrow. "Ako nga bumili niyan, di ba?"
"...Right, right. Tinanong ko pa."
She turned around to the tool shelf and painstakingly typed one label after the other. She then placed each label on the container starting from the middle row started from the middle when Grace interrupted her. "Babe, dun ka magstart sa baba. Ung mga mabibigat."
"Bakit? Pareho lang naman kung saan ako mag-start, eh."
Grace insisted. "Basta."
As per her instructions, Leni crouched down to the bottom row of containers while Grace watched over behind her. Her eyes remained glued to Leni's rear end as she stuck one label after the other.
Once done with labelling the bottom row, Leni stood back up facing Grace. "Tapos na—"
Leni eyed Grace cross-armed when she saw where Grace was looking at. "Uhh, nandito ang mata ko. Wala akong mata sa pwet."
"Ay, sorry." Grace chuckled upon being called.
A glimmer appeared on Leni's eye as she took the feather duster from the side table. "Sayang hindi ko hinanda ngayon ung French maid na costume na binili ko kahapon. Para sa birthday mo sana un, eh."
Grace's mouth simply hung open on hearing the revelation.
