Leni never exactly loved the entourage of security forces surrounding her during big events like the SONA, but alas protocols were protocols and they were for her own good.
However, during a long, dragging of President Duterte's speech, the call of nature dawned on Leni, sending her off rushing to the nearest bathroom and quickly locked the cubicle she entered in. Once done, Leni exited to find Risa standing there retouching her makeup.
"Wow, nakatakas ka ata sa bodyguard mo." Risa said while applying mascara.
Leni giggled. "Medyo lang naman. Di na kayang pigilin eh."
She and Risa kept glancing at each other while doing their business. The glances slowly lingered for longer and longer until Leni zeroed in on Risa's luscious lips enhanced by the red lipstick she's wearing. "Ang ganda talaga niya."
Not wanting her to notice what she's doing, Leni quickly bowed her head down and continued to wash her hand. Then she felt Risa's fingers lightly brush the small of her back – one of Leni's weaker spots. The light contact made Leni gasp audibly and stopped her on her tracks.
"Leni, okay ka lang? Parang natulala ka yata." Risa inquired.
Still spaced out, Leni nodded. "Okay lang ako."
At the back of her head, she wished Risa touched her again. It's been a good long while since she last did amidst the hustle and bustle of settling into their new duties in public office.
As if she's been reading her mind, Risa wrapped her arms around Leni and squeezed her in a tight embrace. Risa's warmth contrasted with the bathroom's cold sterility – one she missed so much.
She looked into Risa's eyes found herself on the receiving end of her gentle kiss. A warm glow radiated from inside her and her breath hitched when she felt Risa's hands descending lower and lower from her back to her waist down to her full hips. Leni's hands until they settled on the back of Risa's neck.
As they continued to lose themselves into their kisses, Leni craved for more of her smooth, gentle, yet firm touches, and judging from Risa's gasps and groans, she knew she wanted it too.
Just after Risa unzipped Leni's dress to continue things further, they heard someone clear their throat. Startled at the sudden presence of another person in their domain, they reluctantly let go of each other to find Pia standing in front of them with arms folded.
The ex-senator and now congresswoman eyed the two of them from head to toe. "Mmmhmm..."
It was only when she found Risa with her head down and blushing heavily did Leni realize that she's still gripping tightly to her waist. Leni let go with a weak laugh after. "Ay, Rep. Pia, nandyan ka pala... Sorry, medyo na-carried away lang."
Pia simply raised an eyebrow and walked out the door. Risa and Leni stared at each other before Leni broke the silence. "Teka, does she know about...us?"
"Sinabi ko na I'm dating an ex-congressman, which is true naman."
Risa chuckled, sending both of them to fits of laughter while she zipped up Leni's dress. "Napaka mood-killer nun, pero oh well. Mamaya na lang tayong gabi sa condo namin. May alam akong medyo public na medyo secret spot doon na tago sa CCTV."
Leni looked at Risa with a knowing smirk before walking out herself.
