A/N: In this story, Grace is separated and living with her children, but isn't living with Leni. Leni is a widow with children.
With the kids in school and work, Grace had the house to herself for the first time. Relishing the little moment of solitude away from the hustle and bustle of children, she made herself a cup of tea and curled up on the sofa with her favorite David Baladacci book.
She took her teacup and sipped from it when she discovered that various articles of clothing lay scattered around the living room. Grace put down her book and started picking the clothes up one by one and folded them neatly with the intention of putting them in the wash.
One of those pieces of clothing, she discovered, was one of Leni's white polos that she left when she visited two nights ago. Grace took a whiff from it and felt intoxicated from Leni's scent, imagining the days Leni's probably curled on the couch with green tea and a book, just like her. Ang bango ng perfume niya.
She then wore the polo on top of the tank top she's already wearing. It was a little loose for her, but that just made her feel even cosier.
Then, the doorbell rang. Grace rushed to the door only to find Leni's big brown eyes staring right back at her. "Hi, Grace."
"Hi, Leni. Ano ginagawa mo dito?"
"Kunin ko lang ung mga naiwan kong damit sa living room the other night."
Grace gestured her hand and let her in. "Sige pasok lang. Naka-fold na ung mga damit mo sa ibabaw ng table."
Leni picked up the little stack of clothes and counted them. "Hmm...parang may kulang."
She scouted the room for the missing articles of clothing. No dice until she checked Grace out again. "Ang dami mo na ngang white polo, pati pa ba sa akin kukunin mo?"
Still high from the smell of the polo, Grace sighed happily. "Ang bango kasi eh. Parang nakayakap ka lang sa akin."
Leni let out a slight giggle. "Pero mawawala din yan pag di mo binalik."
Upon realizing that Leni was right, Grace took the polo off and handed it to her. "Want to stay for a bit?Bagong gawa ko lang ng favorite mo na green tea."
"Sige. Wala rin naman akong kasama sa bahay ngayon."
And so they spent the rest of the morning cuddling each other and sipping from Grace's fine china tea cups, making the most of the pockets of time they had to themselves until their children arrive from school and work.
