"You are the light of my life. The strength that motivates me. Every minute I get to spend with you is a minute well spent. You may be young but you inspire me to be a better person. Daddy will always be here to guide you to the right places. Goodnight, Mason." The man told his son. He knew his son could not understand a thing. But he knew he had grown out of his old ways when saying those words to his son.
"I am proud of you honey." Julie said, interrupting the moment. Klay smiled pulling his mom into a tight hug. He knew she had done a lot for him in the past month. Caring for his son when he was away, satisfying his needs and being the grandma that he knew she would be. His mother had surpassed all standards for him.
"Thank you momma. Thank you. You have taken care of my son when I was away and to me parent to parent that means absolutely everything. I couldn't do it without you." Klay stated, his mother smiled rubbing her son's head.
"Oh honey I am always here to support you. I am beyond proud of the man you have become and that woman of yours is incredible. I am so happy for you Klay." Julie admitted.
"Which is why tomorrow I set up for you two to get a spa treatment. You both deserve it. Ayesha will also be joining you. Stephen and I are really lucky to have you woman in our lives." Klay responded, Julie sighed in relief. Pulling her son closer to her.
"Mason has been an angel; but I love massages. Especially with the warm rocks." Julie replied, describing everything in vivid detail.
"Okay mom tell the girls that tomorrow." Klay said, laughing as his mom repeatedly shared her excitement.
The next day
"Camila honey hurry up! I'm so ready to have my back in relief." Julie yelled, Camila rolled her eyes adjusting her shirt in a more proper position. She decided she would put on some nike sneakers that Klay had bought her to complete the outfit.
"I'm almost done Julie, calm down." Camila replied, grabbing her purse in the midst of Julie's excitement.
"Here take this." Klay commented, offering her a Gucci wallet. That was not it though, the woman opened the woman to find tickets to a flight to New York. The woman instantly screamed.
"I know you've wanted to go to the big apple for some time now. Since your mother is there. I figured why not. The timing is perfect too. We face the Knicks and the Nets in the same week. So I'll be there to accompany you as well." Klay continued. He laughed as the woman was in shock as she could not find the words to express her emotion.
"Klay...you didn't have to do this you know?" Camila stated.
"I know I didn't, but seeing how you've managed everything including me being away. You've handled it like a rock. You deserve it." Klay said, grabbing the woman's waist to pull her closer to him.
"But do I deserve a man like you?" Camila asked.
"Absolutely." Klay stated, crashing his lips onto the woman's. The woman smiled, deepening the kiss as they both heard murmurs as they stopped the kiss.
"Damn get a room." Stephen stated, as Ayesha proceeded to slap his chest. Julie laughed at the couple beside her.
"Thank you." Camila said, kissing the man's lips one last time before she followed the two other anxious woman.
The two men were left to ponder on how to spend the rest of their evening. In the end, they decided to invite both Harrison and Draymond despite how loud they are.
"Ayeeee uncle Drayy in the house." Draymond yelled, waking up both Ryan and Mason. Stephen and Klay glared at their friend as they were forced to attend to their child's needs.
Later that evening
After an eventful evening, everything was going smoothly. The children fell asleep to the talents of Draymond Green. Klay received an unexpected phone call from Camila.
"Klay! some guys are threatening us and we don't know what to do. They're constantly harassing us. We don't know what to do and our cab won't arrive." Camila yelled frantically. The man dug in his pockets searching for his keys.
"My woman is in trouble."
