Lily's POV
As we sat down in the cafeteria, I couldn't help but notice Jackson's tattoo. It is on his forearm and it is a skull. Yikes. "If you want to look at my tattoo, you should just ask." He says as he sees me staring at him. I take my eyes off him and grab my paper. We switch papers and I fill mine out.

Well, he's a real downer. I think to myself. I get up and start walking to the cafeteria door when a strong hand grabs my rist. I don't have a moment to think until Jackson spins me around so I face him. He has a smirk on his face and I can't help but roll my eyes. "What?" He asks. "That smirk is so stupid." I say to him as I turn back around to walk away. He yells after me, "See you later." His words sound chilling. I run into the school parking lot and hop in my car, still thinking about Jackson. When he said, "see you later," it sounded so cold. I turned the ignition and drove home. I walked inside and yelled, "Mom, I'm home!" I got no response. She must of left the house. That's not uncommon, knowing that she works full time at the office. I sat my stuff down on the kitchen counter and went upstairs to change. When I get to my room, I'm so exhausted from school that I just fall on the bed and doze off to sleep.
