Briar's POV
"Myles stop it we are in public!" I giggle uncontrollably at my boyfriend who's planting butterfly kisses all over my face. "How can I stop when you look so adorable." He continues to kiss me continuously. "Mylo! I'm serious!" I say a bit firmer than last time. He stops and turns to me. He begins to pout. "What if one of the fans catch us? Frank made it clear we can't announce our relationship yet." "Yeah you're right." I smile at him. Once we enter the studio I grab his hand. Since all the cast knows about our relationship we can act like a couple in front of them. "Morning bryles." Alex chirps at us while walking to hair and makeup. No one here refers to us as just 'Briar' or 'Myles' it's always bryles. Well that makes sense since we are literally connected by the hip. Apart from when we have to shoot scenes, Myles and I are always together. Sometimes in craft or in the studio practising or even in the dressing rooms having secret make outs. Wherever he went I went. We make our way to Java Junction. We are about to get the new scripts for the next episode. I think we arrived a little late because when we arrived Frank stopped talking and all eyes went on us. "Bryles so lovely of you to join us...a little late though but you're here." Frank mocks us. "Sorry Frank." Myles and I say in unison. "Here's the scripts for next week. Read and memorise them all by Monday please. If you have any questions just ask me." He hands them out and as soon as I get it I read it over. Yes I get to do a solo this week. Score! Out of the corner of my eye I see Myles' body stiffen. I wonder what happened to him. "What's wrong?" I ask him. He quickly turns over his script and mumbles a "Nothing." He smiles as to reassure he's fine. "Myles I have known you since we were four and I know something is wrong." He laughs and stares at me. "I forgot that my four years on a TV show and an appearance on Broadway can't get past you." I raise an eyebrow. "Please I could have told that you were lying if I had just met you at a coffee shop a minute ago. Just tell me what's wrong." He sighs and hands me his script. I begin to glance at it but I can't see anything wrong with it. That's until I see it. The words 'I like you Amanda.' Myles has to pretend to date Logan. "Oh." I pretend to act calmly but it fails miserably. "Are you alright Lil' B. You have to realise I don't like Logan at all." He starts to get a tone of panic in his voice when he sees me stay silent. After a moment of silence I look up at him and put on a brave face. "Yeah I'm fine. Absolutely fine. I mean why wouldn't I be you don't love her, you love me." He looks at me with pure concern. I forgot to mention that my acting skills are nothing with him. "You sure?" "Yep I just need to go somewhere." Before he can reply I walk out with the script still in my hand. I'm honestly OK with him saying that he likes Logan, what I'm really worried about is if they keep acting like a couple and that he will realise that he is happier with Logan. Even though we are the same age Logan is much more mature than me. She's tall, beautiful and can give Myles allot more than I can. I walk to the cast lounge. As I expected it was empty. I sit down on the couch and stare at his script. The words 'I like you Amanda.' Keep repeating over and over again in my head like a broken record. I just don't know how to handle this. Do I feel sad that I might lose the person I care about or angry that Frank made them date when he knows we are a thing. I just don't know. I get so lost in my thoughts that I don't hear the door open.
Myles' POV
When Briar walked out I could easily tell she was anything but OK. She thinks I'm going to end up liking Logan when in reality that's impossible. Sure Logan is pretty but she's nothing compared to Briar. "Myles where is your script?" Frank asks me. I glance down at my now empty hands before realising its with Briar. "Oh Bri has it." He nods before looking at my surroundings. "Where is she? Normally you two are always together." He questions me. "Oh she left when she saw my script." I say a little sadly. He groans and throws back his head. "Oh no, I promise I tried putting you two together but the storyline works so much better with Nomanda." "No I get it. I wish it was with Briar. But I get it." He nods. "You should go after her." He then walks away giving me a chance to run after Briar. I check in her dressing room and at craft. I have checked in every place except the cast lounge so she must be in there. I open the door slowly and peek in to see my beautiful girlfriend sitting on the couch. She is staring at my script like she wants to set in on fire which is understandable. She doesn't realise I'm here until I sit down next to her and put my arm around her. She instantly acknowledges my presence by snuggling into me and resting her head in the crook of my neck. "How did you find me?" She asks humorously. "Obviously because I am so connected to you that I know your exact location at anytime." I say with a duh tone. She raises an eyebrow. "OK I searched everywhere else and realised you were here." She giggles. "That sounds more believable." I tighten my hold on her. "Do you promise that you won't leave me for Logan." She asks quietly. "Briar I haven't been more sure in my life. I love you and only you." She smiles. "Good. I'm sorry for walking out." "Don't stress, I get it. I would do the same if it happened to you but probably worse." The room is filled with her laughter. "I can imagine that. You will probably beat them up." "Yeah but that's because you're my girl and NO ONE is allowed to go in a three metre range of you without my approval." She snuggles into me tighter. "You're so cute when you're protective." She hands me back my script and stands up with me following. "Can we go back now?" I ask, even though I love spending time with Briar we have to head back to Frank. "Do we have to?" She whines like a five year old. "Yes we do." She huffs, still acting like a five year old. "No I'm not going anywhere." I smirk, coming up with an idea. "OK I will just have to take you there myself." Before she can even breathe I run towards her and pick her up. I swing her over my shoulder and begin my journey back to the others. "Mylo put me down now!" She yells and pounds on my back. That does nothing though. She is laughing and yelling the whole way. When I walk through the door everyone turns to see what the noise is about. "Mylo!" She squeals. I continue walking. "Don't worry everyone, I got her." I announce while they laugh. "Myles I think you should put her down now." Akiel says between chuckles. I hold up a finger. "Not yet first she has to say I'm the best boyfriend ever." I turn to a struggling Briar. She stops laughing and gives me a straight face. "My mum taught me never to lie." I roll my eyes at her. "Well than you should get comfortable because I can do this all day." I threaten her. Her eyes widen. "Ok ok Myles is the best boyfriend ever." She says. I nod in approval and then place her on the ground gently. Her face is red from laughing and hanging upside down. "Are you alright?" Frank asks her. "Yeah I'm good now." He smiles. "Good I wouldn't want an unhappy cast member." He then walks out and leaves Akiel, Shelby, Skylar, Logan, Isiah, Briar and I. "I'm sorry Bri but don't worry "Nomanda" could never be as cute as bryles." Logan says while using air quotes on Nomanda. "Yeah bryles is low key couple goals." Skylar says. Briar blushes and turns to me. "Hey want to have a race to wardrobe?" She questions. I already know I'm going to win but I decide to do it anyway. "Oh yeah." We stand in line and Akiel gets ready to start us. "On your marks, get set, go!" On go Briar turns to me, grabs my face and kisses me roughly. Before I can kiss back she pulls away and bolts to wardrobe. I stand in a daze for about a second before realising what she has done. That little cheater. I immediately sprint after her yelling, "Briar you get back here you cheater!" I run to wardrobe while the laughter of the others dies down.
A/u HELLO!!!!!!! I feel gutted that I haven't posted in forever. I'm deciding what to do with my other book 'handcuffed' and I decided that I will continue it with around four more chapters and then write a sequal. The sequal will not be for a while though since I need time on my other books. Sorry this chapter is so cliché and fluffy and I know everyone does it but I wanted to do a cute chapter. Hope you have a great day and yes I realise this authors note is way to long!!
