Maine and I decided that this would be our last official interview.

Since we had a family, she rarely takes on showbiz projects and in the recent years, I've also cut back on  that kind of work. We've focused on businesses outside showbiz such as the restaurants in Laguna and  the gas stations we put up and some other investments we have. Maine also continued her blogging, which allows her to work from home.

However, this was our 10th wedding anniversary and AlDub's 14th and Eat Bulaga's 50th year so we obliged due to the demand of the fans - apparently, we still commanded a huge following. We agreed to even have Rosie, 7, and Troy, 3, on for a short cameo.

Kuya Ryan was going to do the taped interview. "Kamusta naman kayo? Matagal tagal na din namin kayong hindi nakikita sa show."

"Okay naman, Kuya Ry."

"10 years and 2 kids! Who'd have thought 'no? Sa TV lang kayo una nagkita tapos nandito na tayo!"

"Oo nga eh. Buti nalang talaga natagalan ako ni Alden." Maine joked.

"O, I'll ask you, Alden, yung una ding tinanong ni Maine sa yo  nung first date with the long table. Happy ka?"

I smiled. "Sobra. Alam mo naman, Kuya Ry, ano lahat ng pinagdaanan ko. When my mom died, akala ko hindi na ako magiging buo. Pero now, with her, with the kids... I'm close. I miss pa din my Mom. But now, I'm really, really happy. Ikaw, Maine? Happy ka ba?

She beamed. "Hindi ba obvious? Happy. Yung parang hindi na siya kilig like nung una kami magkita, pero yung... Steady. Stable. Yung alam mo na hindi ka iiwan. Every morning I wake up alam ko he'll be loving me. Ang saya pala nung ganung security and I'm happy it's with him."

"Has it been easy?" Kuya Ryan asked.

Maine shook her head. "Naku, hindi, Kuya Ry. Sobrang hindi maiiwasan na may away, na may misunderstanding. Siguro sa min lang kasi, we decided walang iwanan, kahit ano. Aayusin at aayusin."

"Yes," I agreed. "Yung at the end of the day, yung love yung important. Love for our family. Love for her. That's the most important."

They decided to bring the kids in.

"Pare, Rosie's so pretty ha and si Troy kamukha mo din."

"Thanks, Kuya."

"Maine, eyes lang ni Rosie nakuha sa yo!"

"Oo nga po eh! Silang dalawa carbon copy ng Dad nila 'no?" She said, obviously thrilled.

"Pero kasing kulit ni Meng." I said.

"Rosie, do you want to say anything for Mommy and Daddy?"

"I love you. Love din kayo ni Troy but he's shy to talk."

Kuya Ryan asked us, "So after all these years, you can honestly say you guys still love each other?"

We were all surprised when it was Troy who replied, "Yes. Love sila. Kasi parati pa sila magpe-play."

"What's that, Troy?" Kuya Ryan coaxed.

"Lagi sila magpe-play sa woom and Ate Wowsie and Twoy hindi pwede sali."

"What game?"

"Jumping on the bed. Kaya si Daddy lagi magpapawis pag mag-go out."
