A/N: It's here! The long awaited second novella of The Taken Series! I will continue to edit Enslaved Cake so I will let you know when I finish up with that.
I can't wait to hear all of your opinions of this book! I am very much in love with the characters and how their relationship will unfold. A picture of Rori's abductor up above.
Please vote and comment! It would mean the world to me!

"Rori, are you going to the Father's Day party with your dad tomorrow?" Jessie asked as we walked to our classes together. I looked over to meet her blue eyes with my brown ones and nodded.
"That's the plan, what about you?" I said and watched her as she tucked her brown hair behind her ear.
"Yup! So we can hang out while they talk business?" I laughed and swept my black hair over my shoulder to let the wind cool my neck off.
"Of course. Thank goodness someone will be there that I can stand." I said as I looked up to the building where Jessie's class was.
"I'll see you tomorrow night then!" She called as she ran off. I waved back at her before looking around the campus. It was pretty vacant as I walked on toward my building.
I have to go shopping tonight for a dress for tomorrow. Maybe I can do that after my class.
A hand clamped over my mouth from behind and an arm wrapped around my waist, pulling me back into someone's body. My heart leapt in my chest and I widened my eyes in surprise. I dropped my books and scratched at the person's arms. I kicked my legs as hard as I could, trying desperately to make contact with the person who grabbed me. They walked backwards as I screamed into their hand and then bit down on their skin. I felt them flinch from my attempts but they never lessened their grip. They threw me into a van and I quickly tried to jump back out towards them but before I could, the door slammed shut. I scrambled to open it back up but to no avail.
It's locked!
I looked around and saw that there was another door at the back of the van. I moved over to it quickly and tried to open it but it was locked as well. I turned around to see a small square metal grate that seemed to lead to the driver's seat. I ran to it and looked to see a man getting in the driver's seat.
"Let me out of here, you sick son of a bitch!" I screamed. I could see his brown head of hair ruffle slightly as he glanced at me. Dark piercing eyes looked at me for a moment before returning his attention back to the road and starting the vehicle. As the van started moving, I backed up and sat down on the metal floor. I checked my pocket for my cell phone.
It's gone!
I looked over to the metal grate, seeing the man's brown hair again.
Shit! He must have grabbed it!
I looked around the van again to find a way to escape. When I couldn't find a way out, I walked back up to the metal grate and looked out the windshield, trying to memorize the streets.
Jefferson st, take a right...102nd Ave...take a left...we're stopping?
I watched as the man pulled over to the side of the deserted road and got out. The landscape was dry and typical of Arizona weather. The door that I was thrown in from opened and I jumped away. The man's hair swayed slightly from the wind outside and his smokey eyes stared at me intensely. His lips were set into a thin line as I examined him. A plain black shirt and dark wash jeans with black combat boots. I saw a few tattoos peeking out from underneath his sleeves.
