Normani Kordei Hamilton.

Again, x2 Mani for a reason.

"Good game." Arin pats my back.

"Thanks." I reply with a small smile. "But I told you that I would beat your ass." I say, slightly out of breath.

"Uh huh." He nods with a smile on his face. "As if I didn't let you win."

"Please." I laugh and wipe the sweat off of my brow. "You lost and you know it."

"Well." He looks down at his watch. "I'd love to stay and argue, but I actually have a meeting really soon. So I have to go."

"Okay then." I smile. "Thanks for the exercise."

"No problem." He replies and gives me a quick hug before running off to his car.

I sigh and get into my car after a while, and put on the air conditioning, I can not afford more sweating.

After taking the longer route, just to cool down, I finally end up at Dinah's house.

I get my key out of my bag, since I don't see her car in the driveway, and unlock and then open the door.

I walk around aimlessly for a while, looking for a sign as to where she could be.

After walking around her giant house for about five minutes, I come to a stop at the table in the kitchen and find a white note with Dinah's neat handwriting on it.

Mani,

Went to work, took Pres along with me. Won't be long.

I sigh. I was really looking forward to seeing her before I went to work.

I've been up since five.

Arin texted me last night after I fell asleep and when I woke up to pee, I checked my phone and texted him back.

Turns out that he was awake, and he was nice enough to invite me to a game of squash.

It was tiring, but good exercise.

Ever since I've met Dinah, I forgot what a gym is.

I take long steps towards her bathroom and take a nice but short shower, seeing as I still have to go to work.

I use her shower gel, just because I miss her and want to smell like her.

Tonight we're having dinner at her parents house and I'm a bit creeped out.

Milika scares me a bit, but other than that, I need to become well acquainted with her siblings too.
Family is important to me.

After putting on warm clothes, seeing as its cold today, I grab my keys and go downstairs for a quick breakfast, which consists of orange juice and some Smurf cereal that Dinah couldn't help but freak out over with the little marshmallows the store.

Dork.

I put my dishes in the sink, get my keys, lock her door and start my boring journey to work.

*.*.*.*.*.*.

"I don't know Mani." Coco speaks softly, careful for Olivia not to hear.

Coco and Olivia are the two closest people in my life who hate each other's guts.

All because Coco stole Olivia's man. They even had a public fight outside the club and everything.

That night, I pretended not to know either of them.

"I think its a bit risky hanging out with your clients like that." She says in a hushed tone.

"But he's a sweet guy." I defend Arin. He's been nothing but nice this entire time.
