Chapter 23: the happiness and the pain..

* Gabby's POV*

I woke up with the worst back pain.

I decided to get up.

I glanced at the clock it said 6:30am

I wasn't tired I was to anxious, why because today is the day the girls are coming!!!

I wobbled down the stairs and started to clean

First I vacuumed then I mopped.

I cleaned windows and did laundry.

After 3 hours of hard work. I made breakfast.

I made scrambled eggs with bacon and toast.

For everyone.

I put the food inside the oven so it wouldn't get soggy.

I saw my phone it was ringing I looked at the screen and it said 💋Vicky my best friend from PA she moved to London a few years after I moved to LA.

We still kept in touch.

" hello" I said

No response all I heard was " no please James no" she screamed with terror then I heard a familiar voice say " she will pay"

I hung up tears rushing down my face, what was I going to do if I lost my best friend. She knows me so well!

I can't have her go to!

I sprinted up the stairs as fast as I could.

I quietly opened my bedroom door not to wake Harry.

I felt my lip quiver.

He woke up from my sighs and my pacing on the wooden floor

" what's wrong?! Are you alright" he asked wiping the sleep that remained in his green eyes.

" I have to go see my best friend from my old home, I think she's hurt. Bad." I said as I cried into my hands.

I didn't care that he saw me.

I know he will always try to help and I like that about him.

He sprang out of bed and wrapped me into a hug.

I cried into the crook of his neck.

He rubbed my back.

I balled my fists clenching the back of his shirt.

" let's go" he said

I looked up at him " are you serious"

He nodded

" but what about the drunken lads?" I asked

" who cares, let's go, now" he said

I ran and grabbed my coat and slid down the railing of the stairs.

It was so fun!

He laughed at my childish move

" you try it" I said laughing

He did he slid down the railing laughing

" that was awesome" he said

We pulled into her driveway.

I ran up to her house the door locked

" shit!" I cursed under my breath

" now what" Harry said sighing

I thought for a moment just to think of my options
