Chapter 55: ouch that hurt!

*Harry's POV*

Gabby and I got into the pris

I drove and she sat in the passenger seat

She had her hand wrapped in a towel

Her hand bled off and on

" I'm sorry" I said

She turned to me "why?"

" I left the muffins in the oven" I said

She sighed and looked directly into my eyes " Harry, don't blame yourself. I was an ass and put my hand into the fire with a flammable mit"

I looked at the road

" DAMN IT" she said

" what?!" I asked looking at her

" my hands bleeding" she said putting the towel over the bloody spot on her charred hand

" were here" I said as I pulled into the parking lot

I parked the car and got out, I walked over to the other side of the car to help Gabby who was struggling with the door

" thanks" she smiled

I nodded

Then we walked into the hospital

Gabby was taken into the back room

I decided to go along with her

She was put on a table and the nurse came over " this is gonna hurt a little"

Then Gabby went pale

The nurse put on this liquid

Gabby's face showed pain

" it burns!'' She cried

Then she gripped onto the table

She let out sighs of pain

I watched helplessly as the nurse dabbed her hand

Then the nurse finished and wrapped up her hand

" thanks" gabby said

The nurse nodded then walked out of the room

Gabby's phone started to ring

" hello" she said

" oh ya you do I forgot! Have daddy put your coat on and I will be there in 10 minutes. I love you to"

Then she hung up

" what was that all about?" I asked her

She cursed under her breath,

" well I am an ass who forgot about something very important for tomorrow"

"What is it?" I asked

"It's a surprise,"

"We have to leave though", she said getting up from the table

Then we left the hospital and she drove home

" what about the show?" I asked

"The producer called about half an hour ago and said it was cancelled"

I nodded

Then I looked at the road

I thought we are going home but

We didn't stop at home,

we are at a dry cleaners?

"I'll be right back" she said
