Chapter 39: bringing her home!

*Gabby's POV*

I woke up to the soft cries of my baby girl.

Then I heard the door open.

I saw a nurse

" I think she needs fed " the nurse said

" yes I think so also" I said getting up off of the bed

Lou laid on the bed out cold, he's been up a lot lately and I don't want to wake him

I got out of the bed and grabbed the bottle

The nurse followed.

I did everything that she told me

Then she left.

I sat down in the bed with Sofia in my arms.

I cradled her close to my chest.

Then she drifted off into a deep sleep.

She is so laid back it is amazing!

I checked my phone clock and it read 8:00 am

I set the sleeping newborn in between my crisscrossed legs

Then I grabbed a pen and wrote down a schedule

SOFIA'S SCHEDULE:

Wake up time 7:00

Feedings during the day: 8:00am, 11:00am, 1:00pm, 4:00 pm and 7:00pm

Feedings at night: 10:00pm, 1:00 am 4:00am

Diaper changes during the day: 9:30 am 12:30 pm 2:30 pm 5:30 pm and 8:30pm

Diaper changes at night: 11:30pm 2:30 am 5:30 am

Naps: when ever she passes out

Bed time: 7:45pm

Bathing ( once each week): 5:00pm

That schedule is taught to you in nursing school. I memorized it every day

When I finished writing down everything I put the pad into the diaper bag

Then I grabbed my sleeping daughter and cradled her in my arms

I then felt movement from Lou.

He slowly turned and faced me, still asleep

I now had Sofi in my arms, I leaned down and kissed his cheek.

Then I heard a knock at the door. Then people entered

I saw Harry Caitlin Niall Liam Zayn.

" why are you guys here so early?" I said getting off the bed with Sofia.

" I needed to see my little cupcake god daughter" Harry said.

" how sweet Harold!" I said smiling

" can I hold her?" He asked

" of course!" I said.

He dropped the bags of things he was holding and took the newborn

" I'll be right back" I said walking towards the bathroom door

" alrighty!" Caitlin chirped playing with Sofie's hands

Mental note: her nick name is now Sofie

Then I walked into the bathroom and put on some clean clothes

I got dressed into a pair of jeans and a plain blue t shirt, I put a zip up hoddie on also.
