Jeremiah and I were at a beach, sitting on top of a huge boulder right next to the waters of the ocean. His arms were wrapped around my waist from the back as his chin was laid on top of my left shoulder. My hands were holding onto his as my body leaned against his broad and strong body. I closed my eyes to feel the wind gently dance across my skin as I cherished this moment. The sun was slowing setting, turning the sky pink, red, and orange. The view was amazing and being here with the man of my dreams made it even better.

His hand gently turned my face towards his and we stayed there awhile looking into each other's eyes. His eyes were blue, a wonderful and beautiful ocean blue that always made me want to get lost in. His blond hair with brown streaks were gently moving along with the gentle breeze. I couldn't help but run my fingers through his hair, making him smile his amazing smile. His left hand came up to caress my cheek as he moved towards me, slowly going in for a kiss. The kiss was short but sweet enough  to send sparks flying throughout my whole body. With that one kiss, he moved back a little to smile and look into my eyes as if telling me he felt it too. This time, I was the one who went in for the kiss and he kissed me longer. His hand ran through my long and wavy brown hair, then to the back of my neck. One of my hands rested on his muscular chest as the other hand was caressing his cheek.

Multiple tears suddenly started to roll down my check shocking him. "Oh baby, why are you crying?" He spoke gently but very worried at the same time.
I looked up at him in his army uniform and said, "I don't want you to leave again. This time it feels weird. What if something happens to you?"
He pulled me into a tight and warm embrace and said, "I'll always come back to you. I'll never leave you alone. You're my strength to stay alive." He pulled away and wiped the tears away. "I love you."
I couldn't help but cry so I hugged him back even tighter as if he was going to be gone forever. But then he was already gone. He was no longer in my arms. His warmth was gone, and I'm all alone at the place we used to be at together. The only thing in my hands is a picture of him in his uniform and two white roses. I throw the roses down into the ocean and stay there, watching the colors of the sky I once found beautiful.
