Chpt.4- Messy Thoughts

“Everyone get into your groups and please get started. Remember this will be due in a week” Mrs. Richardson announced. I lay back in my seat since I didn’t have to move. I’m in love with this outfits. It’s probably the comfiest thing in the world, except for hospital gowns. I’m wearing a high waist black jeggings and a flowy maroon top, so comfy.

“Ooohh, Diana!” Niall sing songed.

“What!?” I snapped.

“Hey, calm down” Niall said placing an hand on my shoulder. Shivers ran down my back.

“Sorry, It’s too early for math” I replied and Harry let out a cackle. Liam approached us and pulled out a chair.

“Hey Niall!” Liam greeted him with a high five. He did the same to Harry. I looked at him in shock, my mouth a gape.

“Well hello to you too” I snapped at Liam.

“She’s moody” Niall warned Liam.

“Let me guess, your on your period” harry asked me with a questioning look. I smacked him on the head, messing up his perfect curls. “Yup” I answered grumpily.

“I got this” Liam answered and began searching through his pockets. He pulled up a little tinfoil covered triangle. My heart rate picked up. I snatched it out of his hands, before he could completely pull it out of his pocket. A kiss! I unwrapped it and stuffed in my mouth. I heard Niall begin to laugh at me so I chucked the chocolate wrapper at him.

“Okay guys , I’m ready to take on the day. Let’s get started” I said picking up my pencil.

“Remember your project is due in a week!” Mrs. Richardson said as we all left the class.

“I’m surprised we actually got something done with Harry in our group” Niall said as we walked to science.

“I wasa more worried about you” I said with a giggle. “What!? Why?” Niall exclaimed.

“Because you, are unable to focus” I said to him with another giggle. “Only when I’m with you” Niall said in a  sexy raspy. Sparks shot up and down my spine, but all I could manage to do was roll my eyes.

We arrived to our science class and took our seat by Destinee and Avery. I turned to face the board and Mr.Kalun was already glaring at me and Niall.  I really am not in the mood to deal with him right now.

“Eh, everybody listen up! You and your partner are going to be making a project that represents and explains what you believe is the worst thing mother  nature could do to us” Mr. Kalun said. Simple, periods.

“How can mother nature hurt us?” some random girl asked.

“Mother nature is a psycho killer. She can kill a whole nation in days, hours, minutes. She can do whatever she wants. She can take out the whole world in a day, with simple natural disasters, infection. She can take revenge for all the pain humans have caused to her. Your job is to choose the worst.”Mr. Kalun added.

“That was deep” Niall whispered in my ear, his hot breath lingering and making my insides do cart wheels.

“Get to work!” Mr.Kalun yelled.

Niall turned to face me, his ocean eyes meeting mine. More like melting mine.

“So, Diana, What do you think is the worst possible natural disaster?” Niall asked me.

“Apocalypse” I said in a heartbeat. I’ve always had a MAJOR fear of zombies. Never had I ever liked them. I’m just afraid of watching my loved ones turn into an inhumane creature and having to kill them. The fact that at one point you would have to choose between you and them. Or if you should go to them, not knowing if their alive. It’ all too much for me, plus I would hate having to be running all my life, but movement is life. So, alas I’d hate to be in a zombie attack. Ever.
