Fix up

By now I've talked to mom, the Mathews and all of my friends
And I think I'll soon be over Joshua
I gotta be.
I decided to take a walk in the park.
I walked and listened to music
I sat down at a bench and started drawing the sunset
I looked at my work
It was great but there was something missing ....I just couldn't see what
With the corner of my eye I saw someone coming
As I looked I saw Joshua. ..
I sighed and got back to my work.
He sat next to me

"Hi" he said.
I looked at him

"Got tired of Lucas' girl so you came back?"

"Maya she kissed me"

"And poor Joshua was so weak he couldn't push her away" I said with mocked sadness

"Maya...."

"Don't you 'Maya' me! You did what you did. Now pay for it...."

He sighed and looked down
He picked up a flower and handed it to me.
I looked him dead in the eye
But I took the flower.

"If I knew I'd see you I would've bought you a rose...or a house " he smiled
I laughed a little
He kissed my forehead and left.
