Percy stood there looking at the gods in awe at the amazing offer they had just given him. One that would change his life forever. One that would make his life last forever.

Percy gulped and looked back at Annabeth who looked up from the floor to meet his green eyes with her startling grey ones that looked almost exactly like her mother's eyes that frightened him yet amazed him at their extreme beauty at the same time.

She smiled a bit at him her lip twitching up a bit at him making Percy smile a bit back at her. He sighed and looked back at the gods who sat silently looking at him wondering what his choice would be.

Percy started to nod slowly, "I accept your offer." He said and Zeus shifted in his throne that was for some reason made to look better than all the other gods's thrones.

"You know there's no going back once you've made your decision?" Zeus asked and Percy glanced at his father before looking at Zeus and nodding.

"I know."

Zeus nodded before looking at the other gods. "Shall we do the honors so it won't take as long if we all put our powers together?" Zeus asked and there were yes's, nods, and some grumbling gods as demigods watched silently in the background.

The gods all stood from their thrones in their natural height scaring the demigods behind Percy a bit making them shy back from how large the gods were, and how powerful they were there aura's drenching everyone in their own special power of influence.

Each god raised their weapon of choice before their power surged into the item making them glow colors of pink, gold, red, silver, green, and blue

Then a bright white light appeared above Percy's head making several of the demigods gasp behind him as they watched in wonder and fear.

Percy dared not look into the light for fear of being blinded. But after he thought about it, he would be invincible. He could heal from the light shining brightly above him if he looked.

Before Percy could look up sudden warmth surged through his body. He gasped from the surprise of the heat in his limbs.

He felt the warmth surge through his veins filling him from head to toe. Percy felt his fingers tingling just as his insides started doing. It started in his chest and moved down throughout his body making his whole body feel like your foot would feel like if you stepped on it when it was asleep.

Percy closed his eyes and clenched his jaw as he took in the stress on his body. He started to feel extreme pain starting from his heart run through every inch of his body tan body.

Percy ground his teeth before opening his eyes to see complete blackness ahead of him giving him a sense of hopelessness.

Then sudden cold rushed through his body giving his body it's regular temperature making him gasp loudly before his view snapped into what he saw before he closed his eyes. Which was the Olympian's throne room.

Zeus sighed and fell back into his chair as Percy analyzed him from head to toe. He looked different. Way different.

"All hail Perseus Jackson. God of storms and loyalty."

Percy heard feet shuffling and he looked back to see everyone bowing, except for one.

He could barely recognize her at first. But as her grey eyes set in and her blond curls came into view after his godly vision analyzed her showing him how much she was actually part god and part human. She as more on the god side. 57% god to be exact.

Percy focused in on her eyes and he saw what was utter sorrow. Her grew eyes showed a storm brewing, they were glassy. A tear rolled down her cheek falling off of her chin and onto the broken up floor of Olympus which had just been destroyed by Kronos.

God of time.

All of a sudden realization dawned upon Percy as he looked at the destroyed floor. He was the reason Annabeth was crying.

Percy looked back to see Athena her eyes that seemed to be piercing his soul at how cold and harsh her glare was on him.

Percy looked at Annabeth before  looking at the ground again in shame.

I'm sorry! He wanted to scream to Annabeth and somehow make up for his decision that he had made.

His mistake...

But there was no going back now.

Suddenly Percy felt like a weight was put on his shoulders. Heavier than the sky. And he knew exactly how heavy the sky was.

Percy turned to the king of the gods a little forced smile playing on his lips. "Thank you." Percy said and bowed as Zeus nodded.

"Enjoy immortality Perseus." Zeus bid him and Percy nodded before looking at his father who had a sad look on his face.

Percy suddenly knew what the weight on his shoulders was now. And he had no idea how to stand the pressure until the next moment.

How was he supposed to stand it for eternity?

Percy stepped down from the rock he was on and walked past the demigods and left the throne room as they watched him leave Annabeth quietly crying into Athena's armor padded shoulder.

Percy Jackson was a god.

There was no going back now.
