Love Story

Chapter Two

I sighed and grabbed a tray, to get my dinner

"What slop is it today?" I asked myself, as the queue slowly went down

I eventually got a slice of pizza and some salad

I sat at the table I usually sit at, with Wyatt, Carrie, and Kai, but today Parker and Cole are sitting with us

"Good luck" Tanya laughed quietly, walking past with her tray to sit at her usual table, near mine

"Thanks" I laughed back

"Soo..." Parker said  "Have any of you found your mates, yet?" He asked

I shot Carrie a knowing look. She did a slight nod and Kai rolled his eyes, knowing what was coming

"BLAKE" Carrie shouted, standing up on her chair  "WE NEED YOU A SECOND"

Within a second, Blake was stood by our sides, literally the whole school watching, as Carrie pulled him closer to her, and they kissed

"Good luck with that, princess" Blake winked, making my cheeks go bright pink, as he walked off, back to the popular table

Suddenly Cole stood up, and pulled me up with him, as he began kissing me,

I kissed back, in confusion, and hope that he wont reject me

"How did you know?" Wyatt asked the human boy  "I mean, you're human... We're all either wolves or vampires... How did you know?"

"I was told by a girl who looks like the younger version of Tessa" Parker said

"TANYA!?" My twin and  chorused, loudly, resulting in our younger sister, turning around and asked 'what'

"Nothing" We chorused, again, a little quieter

She sat back at her table and carried on talking to her friends

Cole, held on to my hand and whispered 3 words into my ear:  "I love you"

I banged my head on the floor and groaned as I sat up

Of course it was a stupid fucking dream.

"Morning sweetheart" my mother said, coming into my room  "Did you have another bad dream about Cole?"

"It wasn't a bad dream... I don't think... But it was about Cole" I said, standing up

"Ok, get ready for school. I'll make sure Wyatt drives you, okay?"

"Ok" I mumbled, grabbing a towel and going into my ensuite bathroom. 

After having a shower and getting ready for school, I got into my brother's car and waited for him to come out

God. He takes longer than a bloody girl.

He eventually came and got in the car, driving us to school

------- (3 hours later)

"So Wolves and Vampires are real, then?" Parker asked me

"Yeah" I nodded

"And Mates?"

"Soul mates. We usually find them on our 16th birthday, but sometimes.... Sometimes your mate rejects you, and you feel lonely, and... Sad" I said, knowing the experiance of being rejected,  "And sometimes a human can be a wolf's mate, or a vampire's mate... And other times, a Vampire and Wolf can be mates with eachother"  

"Who's your mate?" He asked

"Uhm.. well... Cole is... But he rejected me" I said, awkwardly, biting into my sandwich "But luckily I can keep my sexual activity and stuff like that... So im not really affected by sadness"

"Oh.. So do you think I might be someone's mate? Maybe?"

"Probably. I mean, I knew from the second I met you we'd be really good friends" I said  "Which must mean something..... I just don't know what, though"

"Maybe we'll figure it out, someday" He told me, shrugging

"Yeah" I nodded  "Maybe..."

If only I could tell him how I felt...

I brought another update. It's probably short. Sorry.

It's like, 11:30PM here in England, where I live, and life is pretty crap.
