You say I know no pain,

You say that I cannot play your vicious game.

Look what’s happened---the tables have turned.

Now I’m the one telling and you’ll have to learn.

You’ll learn what true pain is,

The madness that I know.

I can imagine, as you said, that I am a child---afraid of the dark.

Because I am that child who screams, who bears that mark.

But I am unafraid of that monster.

Unafraid of the dark.

For I know of much worse things,

Hidden and diseased.

I feel the way you are not supposed to.

I see the things you are not supposed to.

I am the master of lies that you could never be.

I am the Cheshire Cat of the red queen.

Let us hear your counter story now.

Tell me further of your plight---

That thing you are not supposed to feel,

And play the new game.

The one set up by me.

Tell your story to all of Wonderland,

Let them hear it.

They will hear it.
