Spinning my tales
I pretend to be asleep.
You don’t hear my little coarse squeak.
You see me asleep not as a threat---
Which is your folly,
Which will be your downfall
Small insignificant pretender
It’s terrible, I’m sorry for you.
But my task is to record
What you do not want others to hear
And what you would not want said.
You talk like you’re free,
When you really are not.
And you speak into the silence,
As I never will.
Little door mouse I am,
I never have the courage
To do what I must.
To do what you do.
Do this for me, your erstwhile friend,
And I shall not let you fall.
Be condemned.

Wonderland
PoetryA set of poetry based on the novel "Alice in Wonderland" by Lewis Carrol and the video game "Alice: Madness Returns". These poems sometimes reflect my feelings/get angst-y, but I'll try not to do that.
