Listen to the song while you read. Flower Cafe is a song written by Jooheon, and he does the INCREDIBLE rap, as well as I.M(Changkyun). Jooheon raps the Korean parts, I.M raps the English and some of the Korean parts. It should be listened to when reading this chapter, because y'know, this part mostly takes place at the cafe.
"This is actually really nice," I complimented the café for what a cute setting it had, and how much it looked like a place two college students would fall in love. Or in this case, how my feelings for Jooheon would increase immensely.
"I thought you might like it," he smiled proudly, marveling at his decision to bring me here. "How's your coffee?"
"It's really good," I said. "Yours?"
"It's okay," he mumbled, circling the top of his cup.
I was absolutely enchanted by the coffee shop. There were little pink flowers hanging in the balcony of the second floor, creating an even more charming effect to the scenery I was already in love with. There was no doubt that I would come back here.
The cool breeze of the wind came blowing in through the balcony where we were perched on, with the sweet smell of the little flowers giving me a pleasant scent to inhale.
Jooheon's light hand gently plucked an especially pink and radiant flower off a branch, and examined it carefully, as if it were a shiny emerald that would come once in a lifetime, before winding and spinning it between his fingers in a carefree manner. Then he gazed at me with a look that held so much more than bliss and happiness. I almost lost my train of thought at the sight of those fragilely light yet dark eyes, which were capable of holding such emotion.
I only ever noticed his loud colored hair and how often he wore his hats. This was a whole new level of attraction toward him. He used to look cute in my eyes, but now he looked too beautiful to be real.
He looked down at the flower again, and smiled a small smile. It wasn't a smirk. It looked more like thoughtful smile full of joy.
Jooheon leaned closer to my side of the table, and reached his hand out to put the flower in my hair so gently, I didn't feel anything from the slight touch of his smooth hands.
"Okay?" I asked quietly as he smoothed the side of my hair down over the stem of the charming flower.
"So okay," he breathed, looking at me.
I smiled shyly and looked down at my hands which were freezing. But I couldn't care less if my hands turned blue. I loved this moment with Jooheon too much to care.
I wrapped my fingers around my hot coffee cup to try and warm them, but it didn't help as much as I hoped. I didn't mind though, nor did I notice.
"Let's go and have a walk outside. The waitress over there is staring at us like she expects us to start singing on the table tops about how much we love each other," Jooheon whispered. I laughed and we got up to go.
"She was gesturing for me to go do something to you," Jooheon laughed as soon as we escaped the waitress's eyes. But now he was in mine.
"You have really pretty eyes," he said softly. My eyes were jet black, with a hint of gold in the middle of my pupils. They were unnoticeable unless you stared at the gold part really well. I looked down now, embarrassed.
"I...you have nice eyes, too," I replied awkwardly.
"Come on. Walk and talk." So Jooheon and I walked along the sidewalk companionably, taking little sips of coffee from our cups. "You have a really cute boyfriend," he said suddenly, interrupting our comfortable silence only invaded by the whistling wind of the month. He sipped his coffee casually after he said it, as if those short words were enough to leave him parched enough to need a drink of the partially artificial beverage.
