HEYYY everyone :-)
Thank you so much for 1.33k reads, I totally don't deserve it, but thanks so much!!!!
I'm currently focusing on a different story, so that's why I sort of forgot about this one.
If you really like this one, don't worry, I have all 20 chapters ready to go, and the epilogue. Also, I decided to make a whole extra chapter only focusing on two specific people *giggle giggle*
Try guessing if you want. :-)
Without further ado, here's the long awaited shitty chapter sixteen.
I went home grinning. I was wearing a sweatshirt that Jooheon had, because he insisted I needed to wear something else. He packed my sweater in a bag, and brought me to his bathroom to wash up, giving me a sweatshirt while I wore my old jeans.
Then he walked me to my car at the beach, and it was absolute magic. The stars glimmered above our heads, shining in his eyes.
As soon as we got to my car, he held both my hands in his.
"Today was great," he smiled. "I hope we do this again sometime else. Tell me you'll be in school tomorrow. It's the last day before vacation."
"I'll be there. Don't worry Joohoney," I winked at him. His ears flamed up, and he had a shy smile on his face.
"You better," he said. Then he looked at me a bit more, and kissed my cheek. "Thanks for making me feel not as ugly."
"You're not ugly at all," I said.
"And you're the single most attractive woman I know," he said. "Now get in the car before you catch a cold."
I went in my car and blew a kiss at Jooheon. He caught it and placed it on his heart. I laughed, then drove away.
Now I was lying down on my bed, totally lovestruck.
I flirted non stop with my stepsister's boyfriend. While I had a fake boyfriend. I blew my cover so badly. I hoped Jooheon wouldn't suspect anything, because that could lead to an uncomfortably awkward situation.
Mom still wasn't home, and Tina was out with friends. She left Flora all alone with the babies.
"Summer! Where have you been? I almost killed Jake!"
"I'm sorry, I was at Jooheon's house to hang out, when -"
Flora had this smirk on her face suddenly. I rolled my eyes at her and picked Charlie up from the couch. "We didn't do anything bad. His friends were there.
Flora examined my appearance. "Wet hair, flushed cheeks, a sweatshirt I've never seen before..." she suddenly gasped. "You're wearing his sweatshirt! And you showered there. Which means..."
I gasped at her, and shook my head vigorously. "No, we just went swimming, that's all. And besides, four of his other friends were there."
"Darn it," she groaned. "Never mind. I'll just get you to wear something cute tomorrow for him to want to make out with you."
"What have you been doing in your free time?" I sighed. "No, I just want to lie in bed and contemplate how to kill myself while I'm this happy."
"Okay." She shrugged casually, but it was obvious that she had something up her sleeve.
I trudged up the stairs with Charlie. Jake was sleeping in his cot, and I checked to see if he had a clean diaper. Charlie was asleep withing minutes, so I left and took my phone off of my nightstand.
Hey :-)
How are you? :O
You'll be in school tomorrow, right?
I smiled and giggled at Jooheon's sudden concern and texts.
Of course.
I remembered who was taking me to school, and decided to call Kihyun. He picked up on the fifth ring.
"Hello, Summer," he said. "Why didn't you call me earlier? I was waiting for you."
"You'll never guess who I was with all afternoon," I swooned.
"Jooheon? I thought you said he hated you for climbing through his room window or something."
"That's what I thought," I smiled. "We almost kissed in his pool."
Silence.
"I don't think you very well know what it means to be dating," he said.
"The whole point of you being my fake boyfriend was to see if Jooheon would get jealous."
"No, the reason you asked me to be your fake boyfriend was because you told Jooheon you had a boyfriend," he said. "I dont know if you're okay with the fact that he could find out you lied to him. I mean, I don't mind if you want to stop, but maybe you might need to tell it to him slowly."
"What do you mean?"
"Well, he's obviously jealous when a guy's around you," Kihyun explained. "Summer, girls aren't the only people who have the right to be over sensitive. If you straight out tell him you broke up with me, then he'd suspect all these things, and eventually come to the idea that maybe you and I never really even were a thing."
I thought over what Kihyun had said. "But I really want him to like me, and for me to like him."
"You could pretend you and I had a falling out," Kihyun said. Then he paused. "Did you rub it in his face how happy you were with me?"
"Yeah..."
"Well. Then a super heated argument may not work," Kihyun said. "That's a little too sudden, too."
"What should I do?" I asked desperately, now realizing that all Kihyun was saying made sense, and I should start worrying.
"I'll help you get your boy," Kihyun said determinedly.
I'm so sorry this chapter was shorter than my authors notes and terrible. I remember finding it sooooo hard to make this chapter link with the previous one.
Sorry it was so bad =_= as soon as this gets five reads I'll publish the next chapter.
