Once I got done with my shower I decide to go for a walk, so I walk over and see if Spencer wants to go.
I knock on the door and Spencer comes to the door.

"Hey I was gonna take my dog Max on a walk wanna join us?" I ask

"Sure give me a second" Spencer says happily

"Okay" I say and laugh at him

He's gone for a few minutes so I decide to look around the house.

"Hey you ready to go?" Spencer asks

"Yea totally lets go!" I say

We walk outside to Spencer's car, he puts Max in the back and opens my car door

"Why thank you kind sir!" I say

"Anything for you my dear!" Spencer says with a weird accent

We drive for what seems like forever.

"Are you ever going to tell me where we're going?" I ask

"Nope" Spencer says

Spencer reaches across the armrest and takes my hand. He holds it until we reach our destination. We finally arrive and we get out.

"I thought it would be fun to go hiking since it's not too cold out today" Spencer says

"It sounds perfect Spence!"

"So tell me about yourself Meredith" Spencer says

"Well, I'm 18 I play the piano, I can sing but no one knows I can, I love Jesus with my whole heart and I want to travel the world and tell everyone about Jesus. I grew up in Indiana and moved here for a change in scenery, and yea, that's pretty much it." I say

" Wow. I've always wanted to play the piano you should definitely teach me!" Spencer says

"Yeah, I'd love to! So tell me about yourself!" I say

"Well, I am 19, I can't play any instruments, I sing obviously, I love Jesus with everything in me, and I also grew up in Indiana" Spencer says

"Really?! What part of Indiana?" I ask

"South Bend Indiana, what about you?" He asks

"Fort Wayne Indiana, that's crazy because my aunt and uncle live in South Bend!" I say

"Really? We've probably seen each other around and didn't realize it" He says

"Probably!" I say

"Hey wanna sit for a second and take a break?" He asks

"Yea, sure!" I say

"You're beautiful you know that?" He says shyly

"What?" I ask

"You're beautiful, I mean for real. Meredith, I have never felt this way about a girl that I met one day ago. You are amazing. I think about you constantly and I just can't get you out of my head. I really like you Mere" He says

"I really like you too Spencer!" I say blushing

He blushes. He's so adorable. I really really like him but I just met him, what has gotten into me?

Spencer's POV

We went on a walk today, she is beyond perfect. I really want to ask her on a date Friday but what if she says no? Am I moving too fast? You know what, I'm going for it. Here goes nothing.

"I really like you too Spencer!" She says blushing

She likes me?! Here's my chance!

"Meredith would you like to
go on a date Friday night?" I ask

"I would love too Spencer!" She says

YES!!!!

"Awesome! I'll pick you up around 6?" I say

"Okay, I'll be ready" She says

Just then I get a phone call from Caleb.

- Phone call -

S - Hello?

C - Hey man. Grab Meredith and meet me and Kels at the mall, we've got some pretty big news!

S - Okay, we'll meet you there.

C - Okay man see you soon

S - Alright bye bro

C - See ya
