* 3 weeks later *
I got all of my stuff moved into Caleb and Kelsey's house and right now Spencer and I are on our way home to Indiana! I am so excited to see my family! Right now it is Sunday, Spencer and I are going to split up the week, we will spend until Wednesday at my house and then we will spend until next Saturday at his house.
We have a little under an hour to go and my phone rings. It's my mom. No one knows I am coming home, I just have to keep it a secret just a little longer!
* Phone call *
(M -Me. K - Karen (My mom.)
M - hello?
K - Meredith! I miss you honey, I just wanted to remind you that the twins birthday party is tomorrow. Can you believe they are turning 5?
M- I miss you too Mom! And I'm not sure yet if I will make it. I have them a present tho. And no, I can't believe they are turning 5!
K- Aw. Harper and Macie really wanted you to make it.
M- I know mom. I am sorry. Give them love for me, I have to get back to work. I love you guys!!
K- Alright darling. I love you too. Bye honey
M - Bye mom
* End of phone call*
"Babe! Look where we are!" Spencer says
"Yay! I feel so bad for lying to my mom. But I have a feeling she will forgive me!" I say
"I think she will" Spencer says
"Turn here and then our house is the first one on the left." I tell him. As soon as we come up on my house I see my family all outside playing soccer. Harper and Macie my little sisters' come running to the car and tackle me.
"Sissy!!!! I thought you couldn't come?" Harper asks
"Well I may have tricked y'all so I could surprise you two for your birthday!" I say
"Well I am happy you did. Sissy come look at my room!" Macie says
"Hold on let me hug mama and daddy!" I say
"MEREDITH!!!!!! You tricked me! I didn't think you could come!!" My mom says as she is literally sobbing
"Hahaha I done that so I could surprise you!" I say
"I am just happy to have all of my babies home!" Mom says
"Where is daddy?" I ask
"He is at work." mom says sadly
"Oh okay. Well, I want you to meet someone" I say as I motion for Spencer to come over. He comes over and puts his arm around my waist
"Mama, this is Spencer, my boyfriend!" I say
"Awh! You two are adorable!" my mom gushes
"Sissy boo! Come look at my room!" Macie says
"Hey! Mine too!!" Harper says
"Okay I'm coming!" I say
"You can come too sir!" Macie says to Spencer
"Oh well thank you sweetie!" Spencer says
I can already tell this is going to be an amazing visit!
