Today is the day!! It's finally the day of me and Spencer's date. I decide to clean up my house a bit to waste some time. By the time I'm done its 5:00 so I decide to get ready. I straighten my hair and do my makeup, and pick out an outfit. Spencer said casual so I wear light wash skinny jeans and the top spencer bought me with my white converse. By the time I'm done its 5:50, I give Max some food and water and sit down and play the piano until Spencer gets here.

I start playing All of Me by John Legend. I get to the chorus and I hear a knock on the front door.

I open the door and Spencer is standing there with a bunch of wild picked flowers.

"Thank you Spence! Let me put these in some water. Give me a second" I say

"Okay" he says

I find a vase and put the flowers in it with some water, grab my wallet and Spencer and I leave.

"So where are we going?!" I ask

"Not telling" He says

"Pleeeeaaassseee?!!" I beg

"Noooooooo" he says

"Fine" I say.

"We're here" Spencer says

ITS. A. CARNIVAL. O. M. G.

"A carnival?!" I say happily

"Yea, I hope it's okay" He says and scratches the back of his neck

"Okay? Its perfect Spencer!" I say

"Okay good! Let's go have some fun!" Spencer says

First we go to bumper cars, and then to some games and he won me a giant teddy bear. And now we're on the Ferris wheel! This night has been beyond perfect.

"Meredith I want to ask you something" Spencer says with a blank face

"Okay shoot!" I say

"Mere I really like you and I know it's early and we've only known each other for a week but will you be my girlfriend?" Spencer asks with hopeful eyes

"Spencer, I really like you too! Yes I'll be your girlfriend!" I say happily

With that he kisses me, and I must say it was a good kiss. He pulls back and he looks me in the eyes, his hands still on my face.

"You are the most beautiful girl I have ever seen and I am not exaggerating." Spencer says

I giggle "Thank you. You don't look to bad yourself" I say

We get off the Ferris wheel and the park is closing so we head home. In the car he holds my hand rubbing his thumb over it.

"So Meredith, I remember something about you saying you could sing when we went hiking last Saturday?" He says

"Um, yea, I said that" I say

"Hmm. Well, you should sing for me." He says

"Maybe I will one day" I say and smile

"Or maybe I'll sneak in on you playing the piano and listen to you" He says with a smirk still watching the road

"Yea you do that buddy." I say and laugh at him.

"Maybe I will!" he says and squeezes my hand

We arrive home and I get out. He walks me to my front porch

"I had a great time tonight Spencer" I say

"Me too Mere. Hey, tomorrow me and the guys and their wives are going to Pigeon Forge to shop and hang out and then tomorrow night we are doing a show, do you want to come?" He asks

"I'd love to! What time should I be ready?" I ask

"We're leaving at 7 a.m. and we'll eat breakfast at Cracker Barrel" he says

"Okay I'll be ready, mind if I come over around 6:30?" I ask

"That'll be perfect! I'll see you tomorrow babe!" He says as he kisses my cheek

"Okay bye Spence!" I say

"Bye gorgeous" He says

I walk inside change into pjs and set my alarm for 5:45 a.m. and go to bed. I can't wait for tomorrow!
