I slowly walked up to my classroom's door and sighed, I opened the door to see the room was mainly full this time, only a few students and the teacher weren't here yet.
I sat down in the far back, next to some girl with a red headband and what seemed like an angry expression over something. I shrugged it off since it's none of my business and decided to read for a bit till the teacher and other students arrived.

A few minutes later...

The slight creak of the door opening brought my attention away from the book, it wasn't the teacher but...wait..
I froze for a moment, staring at the girl who just walked in, who was currently taking a moment to look around the room.
She locked eyes with me for a moment and I realized I was staring still.
I quickly turned away and pretended to read my book.
It was the girl I ran into at the bathroom..the one with the blue hair..
I looked around the room for a moment, realizing the only seat that was empty was the one right next to me.
My eyes widened.
The tan bluenette walked up to the desk and sat down.
"Hi" she said
I froze in place and slowly turned my head to face her.
Her eyelashes were long..and oh my stars her eyes were like the ocean...
"Um..?" she said, looking me in the eyes, which quickly broke me out of my trance.
"Oh uh..!" I replied "H-hello.."
"Wait, aren't you the one who ran into the bathroom I was in..?" She remarked.
"Um..y-yeah..sorry if I um.." I paused looking at her for a moment again "b-bothered you.."
"It's fine!" She replied "You don't have to apologize..you already did before.."
She paused, biting her cheek
"I suppose you could try and reintroduce yourself properly.."
She held out her hand
" Hello, I'm Lapis, Lapis Lazuli."
She looked at my eyes directly again and I swear I stopped breathing for a moment.
"It's u-um nice to meet you..Lapis" I responded, shaking her hand, still stuttering a lot.
Lapis smiled.
"What's your name?" Lapis asked
"P-peridot." I answered.
"It's nice to meet you too Peridot." She replied.
I smiled a tad awkwardly, and nodded, suddenly the door opened, the teacher was finally here.
