Jiyeon groaned as her brother shook her awake aggressively. He shouted in her ear without warning. He grinned, his screechy laugh echoing through the room. He placed his fingers on her back and drummed to a rhythm, trying to annoy her.

"Kim Woo Tak, please shut up." Jiyeon growled angrily, shaking off the hands on her back.

She sighed in relief as Woo Tak finally let go of her. She glared at him in the eye. Woo Tak raised his hands in defeat, "Alright, just go get changed. You're late." He exclaimed.

Jiyeon's eyes widened at that statement, frantically checking her clock for the time.
'7:45am' the clock read.

She cursed softly under her breath.

She fumbled with her phone, quickly checking the time again making sure he wasn't lying. Right, he was right.

Profanities rolled off her tongue like she was rapping. She took a quick bath and changed into her clothes before rushing to the kitchen.

Woo Tak laughed at her, slowly chewing on the sandwich. He gulped down the orange juice while Jiyeon ransacked the house for her miscellaneous items. She grabbed her revision notes as she was taking an English exam today. Definitely a great way to start the day.

"Aren't you going to work?" Jiyeon asked. Woo Tak shook his head and said that he needed to prepare his work before heading off.

She didn't want to take her breakfast as she thought it would waste more time. She told him to have hers instead. Woo Tak obviously took the sandwich happily, thanking the younger. She sighed and slung her backpack, slipping on her shoes after pulling her socks onto her feet. She tied her hair while combing it with her fingers, using the pin that she found on the shelf to pull her fringe up. She shuffled towards the front door,  scurrying out and left for the lift without saying good bye.

Her fingers drummed on the railings, hoping the lift would go faster. Jiyeon quickly exited and ran towards the direction of school which was a few blocks away. She had promised her two friends to study in school early before the exam so she was considered late.

——-

Jiyeon gasped exasperatedly when she reached the gate. Earning judgemental looks from the security guard. She patted her chest to clear her congested lungs, walking quickly towards the library.

The two were sitting by a nearby table, papers messily laying around the table with a few text books. She panted heavily, walking towards the two. She smiled and waved lightly at them.

"What took you so long? We thought you had forgotten about us." Minjung questioned playfully. She pulled out a chair for Jiyeon to sit on. "Yeah, I thought you didn't know." Hyun ki teased with a smile on his face.

"Sorry, I kinda over slept." Jiyeon replied with embarrassment. She scratched her head and bit her lip. "It's fine. Your English is amazing anyways, so you'll do fine." Min Jung exclaimed. Jiyeon widened her eyes and denied. She pulled out her notes and skimmed through them. It was time to cram in all the last minute information.

Yoongi watched her intently with his eyes. He smirked, watching her beautiful face. He rested his chin on his hand, distracted.

"Are you even listening?"

A deep voice snapped him out of his trance. "Sorry joon, I was just wondering what it would be like if she was mine."  Yoongi replied blatantly. Namjoon chuckled deeply, closing the English text book. He placed his hand under his chin replicating his posture, staring at the blonde male who seemed extremely distracted.

"I'll bet a hundred you won't be able to make her fall for you." Namjoon joked with a wry smile. "Why?" Yoongi questioned with a confused look. Namjoon chuckled and paused for a moment. He shoots out his index finger, pointed at the brunette who was explaining words they couldn't hear.

"She never talks to anyone other than those two beside her. Believe, I tried hitting on her too but she brushed me away like I was invisible. I decided to break another girl's heart than hers. It was impossible. It's like she was anti social but really sociable. The only time we talked was in debate club where she owned my ass." Namjoon explained. Yoongi nodded , "But who can resist my charms? I'm sure I'll have her wrapped around my finger in no time."

Yoongi was keened on seeing how there was a girl that was unaffected by namjoon's flirting. They and other five boys are the school's heartthrobs. Rich, handsome, talented and definitely playboys. Yoongi was settled at that moment he was going make her fall for him so deep she would be a mess for him.

Namjoon wished him good luck before leaving the scene. He knew that Yoongi would not benefit from anything if he stayed to teach him so he left him to flunk his mid years.

Yoongi bit his lips, eyed travelling up and down jiyeon's body. He smirked devilishly and his expression changed into a charismatic sharp look. He stood up, the chair screeching against the floor. He grabbed his books and shoved them in his school bag. Slung it over his shoulder before walking towards her.

Once he reached her, he slammed his hands down on the table, startling Hyun ki and Min Jung. Jiyeon froze in her actions, the table going silent. She remained composed, smile straightening out. She looked up and stared into his brown beady eyes like it was no big deal. Giving zero reaction. His glare was a fatal charm that would make girls drop down to kiss his shoes at the very moment.

But she seemed to not care at all. He was flustered at her lack of expression. "Wanna grab lunch after school?" He asked in a deep voice with a smirk. She replied with her eyes that showed no interest. "If you are just going to disrupt our session please leave." Jiyeon replied, her monotonous voice lined with a hint of annoyance.

Yoongi widened his eyes, he had never been rejected. He had never felt this humiliated. He clicked his tongue, combing his hair with his hand. He arose from his bent position, walking confidently out the door with a scowl.

"You'll pay. I'll make you fall so hard for me and break your heart in seconds."

———-

Jiyeon sighed in relief. She had never talked so much to a stranger and she felt her heart stop beating momentarily. He was handsome and she had to admit. But that made her despise him more, she hated the fact he looked confident and aware of his good looks, acting like he was all high and mighty that it was an honour for her to be talking to him.

"One step at a time, you're getting there." Hyun ki exclaimed and placed a hand on her shoulder. Min Jung clapped her hands in delight. She was proud her dear friend who managed to converse with someone else. She was overcoming her trauma.
