Chapter 3:

Bella's POV

We stop at a hotel in the outskirts of Canada. Renesmee needs a break and the rest of us need time to think and talk things through.

"We have serious issues to address" Carlisle says. "When the Volturi come for us, we need to be as prepared as we can be."

"But Carlisle we don't have the numbers like we did. We have no chance. We need a backup plan and a good one." Esme says.

"I won't ask our friends to once again 'witness' when in fact this time witnessing won't be practical." Carlisle replies.

"I won't let them break us apart again. But we need a plan and we need it now." I say scared of losing my family once again.

"Let's just all take a breather. Everyone go to their rooms and relax if that's even possible in this situation." Carlisle says a little to sharply.

Esme smiles a warm smile.

Edward takes my hand and we head up to the room. Renesmee is with Rose because she insisted that she is more relaxed with her in the room so we have the entire room to ourselves.

I smile has I hop on the bed falling on my back.

Edward laughs.

"So. The whole room to ourselves." I smile. "What shall we do?"

"Well we can play some chess!" Edward and I laugh.

He crawls onto the bed with me so that his face is exactly in line with mine.

"I love you" I say so glad that Edward Cullen, the boy who didn't date anyone at Forks Highschool, is now my handsome and lovable vampire husband and in return I am his.

"I love you" he says just as he kisses me.

And in that moment we were together forever and no one could take that away from us.

Even though we were being hunted by the royals in the vampire world I was felt perfectly safe in his hands.

"Forever" he whispers as the night continues happily.
