I walked back to the parent's section of the bleachers, finding my mom among the horde of parents. She looks overwhelmed but still attempting to maintain her composure all the while being polite. She spots me heading towards her, a brief look of relief rushing down her face. "I think the game is over." I say clearly, the parents stopping their bickering to look at me. They look over at the field and realize the same thing.

The parents finally disperse. My mom walks over to me with a face of relief. She lets out a loud sigh, her shoulders visibly relaxing. "I'm so ready to go home and pass out, all by myself." She says and giggles.

I nod, biting my lip. "I'll just get the guys to give me a ride after," I say. She nods picking up all of her shit and waddling down the bleachers. I look at the empty football field as the cold breeze breathed through me. It was almost comforting.

I bite my lip, watching people move through the bleachers, the field. Standing up from the bleachers, I walk towards the parking lot. I memorized what Ethan's car look like, and his license plate. I weave my way through the cars until I find it, sitting next to his front door seat.

The floor was cold and uncomfortable, and the people giving me strange looks also didn't make me feel that better. A long time passed, while I was sitting there, waiting for them to meet me at their car. I pulled out my phone, checking the time. A half hour has gone by and they still haven't come to their car.

My suddenly starts ringing, Ashton was calling me. I pick up and hear heavy breathing on the other end. "Where are you?" he demands into the phone. I frown and furrow my eyebrows. "I'm at Ethan's car, waiting for you guys," I say, as if it were obvious. A long breath of silence laid on the other side of the phone.

"Oh. Okay. We thought- okay. We'll be there soon." He hangs up the phone. He sounded worried but I didn't give it a second thought. Ashton wasn't lying, as they were at the car five minutes later.

Once I heard Taylor's and Ethan's bickering I turned to see the three of them approaching the car. I stand up to meet them, my fingers fidgeting with each other. Once Ashton spots me, he drops his bag full of football items and jogs over to me. He wraps his arms around my waist and picks me up, twirling me around.

"Hi," I giggle in his arms. He plops my feet back down on the ground, his face burying in my neck for a few more seconds. Ethan walks around us throwing his bag at Taylor. Ashton leaves my side turning away from me to get his bag off the floor. Taylor waddles to the trunk holding two large duffle bags in his arms. I open the unlocked backdoor and climb in. Taylor climbs into the passenger seat and Ashton sits next to me.

The drive to the after party was short but entertaining. "So did you guys win?" I genuinely ask them looking at Ashton. He looks down at me and tilts his head in confusion. He chuckles and shakes his head not answering me. I look in the rear mirror to see Ethan already looking at me in disbelief. "What?" I asked pouting up at Ashton.
