Natsu bolted towards Zeref knocking him into a wall. Zeref began coughing up his own blood while struggling to get to his feet.
"I didn't want to fight you." Natsu said
"I don't have a choice....I kill you or they kill me."
Zeref mumbled as black demons started floating up behind him. Their faces. The faces of the people Zeref had killed.
Natsu vividly remembered the war Igneel had told him about. But upon closer examination Natsu saw a spirit with no face.
"What's with faceless?" Natsu asked
"I saved that one..."
"If you think my face is gonna go there your wrong!"
"You didn't let me finish...I saved that one for Lucy."
He said raising his head to show a sadistic smile.
"Never!"
