We don't deal with outsiders very well, They say newcomers have a certain smell

Josh was sitting on an empty prison bus. It had to have been the asscrack of dawn, no lights on the bus. The driver was smoking and so had the guards, it filled the whole bus with the smell it would most likely stick to Josh's clothes. On the side of the bus was written "Ohio State Prison" the words were faded but easily readable. Josh had been caught as an accomplice to a murder and robbery in his hometown. He had a mask on but they'd found his fingerprints around the neck of the victim and blood of Josh's as well. The victim had busted his upper lip causes it to drip. Josh and his partner hadn't thought to clean up their mess as the police were too close by and could've caught them at any minute. They eventually were caught, that's how Josh got himself into this situation.

The driver slammed on the brakes lunging Josh into the back of the seat in front of him. It wasn't the most pleasant feeling, but it distracted the churning in his stomach. One of the guards grabbed him by his shirt, dragging him off the bus. They made their way into the prison, through the back he'd been given an orange jumpsuit and shoes with no laces. He quickly changed, he wasn't disturbed at this is where he was going to be spending his life; he was disturbed at how quiet it was. He didn't hear anyone talking except the small talk of the guards. He was lead onto to the jail cells where it was a must new inmates must stay their first week there. He was accompanied by another man, with light brown hair and mocha eyes to match. The man turned around and smiled, "What a pleasantry to meet you...my name is Tyler Joseph! And your name is Josh Dun..dun dun..." He giggled before continuing, "Ashley stole some files so we could know who this new guy is...A-K-A, you." Tyler was a little too happy for meeting someone new. But it comforted Josh that the life hadn't been sucked out of this guy.

"Well, that's nice to know," Josh smiled softly.

"The only thing to really do for this week is sleep, so enjoy you. That's what I've been told." Tyler said before covering himself up with a blanket and kicking off his shoes.

Josh nodded and attempted to sleep himself. He had dreams of the night he robbed and helped kill a man, an innocent store clerk. He promised to only kill bad people and he broke that promise he made to himself. No matter how many times he washed his hands he could still feel the blood of the man the sticky fluid that just never felt like it came off. He regretted helping his friend out but hr knew that regret wouldn't change the situation.

Josh was currently in a world of black and blue, he couldn't see any bright colors. His outlook on life was severely impaired and he knew nothing could fix it.

By the time morning rolled around Tyler was standing above his mattress poking his shoulder.
"Wake up please...I'm hungry and I can't go alone." Tyler whined.

Josh rubbed his eyes before changing his clothes quickly into another orange outfit then leaving to the dining hall with Tyler. They went down a good line with a tray and grabbed food they wanted. It wasn't high class food but it wasn't the worst either. Breakfast was eggs, yogurt, a slice of toast, and a glass of milk or water. Josh took the food he was given gratefully someone made the effort to feed all these heathens.

"Hey, are you gonna eat that?" Tyler asked eyeing up Josh's tray.

Josh slid his tray towards Tyler, he wasn't hungry at all. The nicest thing he thought he could do was let the man who was skin in bones have it. His cell mate was a skeleton, while he looked around and saw many chubby people and others with meat on their bones. He thought Tyler was the only one who really did look different.

"What are you in here for?" Tyler asked.

"I'm an accomplice to murder and robbed a store." Josh spoke softly.

Tyler let some egg fall out of his mouth, "You're one badass. All I did was suffocate someone!" Tyler sounded as if what he did wasn't nearly as bad as the felony Josh committed.

Josh gave Tyler a concerned look  but dismissed it as someone here was probably in here for doing sometimes four times as worse as Tyler. Tyler did give off this whole tough ego, the tattoos helped it too.

After breakfast, they were forced to return to their cells. Stuck with each other for another four days. Tyler was in the cell three days prior to Josh's arrival. Tyler sat on the top mattress of the bunk while Josh had the bottom. Josh had to listen to Tyler mumbling to himself about the white walls, but the prison had no white walls, they were painted a navy blue, while the floor was painted black.

"You okay, man?" Josh asked.

"I-I'm fine Jishwa...Jishwa? Or was it Josh? I'm sorry, I have a hard time remembering." Tyler said with a sad time to his voice.

"It's okay Tyler, maybe want to try and rest?" Josh suggested.

"No, no time. I have to figure out next time the red walls...will, be here." Tyler spoke nervously.

Josh didn't give it much thought and said simply, "Whatever floats your boat."

Josh went to sleep while Tyler was still fixated on the walls. Red, blue, black, purple. Black- blood walls. None of this made sense to the other prisoners stuck to the cells next to him, but it all seemed to make sense to Tyler. Tyler had always suffer with homicidal tendencies and far developed Schizophrenia. No one thought it would go out of control as long as they kept him in intensive therapy, the doctors were wrong. Tyler strangled his doctor when he tried to get him to try a higher dose of medicine. He was sure that the medicine was unsafe so his plans were to make things unsafe for his doctor, but he took it too far that day. Landing him in Ohio State Prison.

Tyler never enjoyed the idea of confinement of small areas, but he had no problem with entertaining the idea of endangering another persons life. He enjoyed watching the suffering as he heard a man telling him how good of a boy he was for doing these things.

"Blurry...I-I don't want to kill him." Tyler said.

"I never said you had to." The voice spoke.

"Then stop making me!" Yelled Tyler.

Tyler woke up the prisoners that night, Tyler was screaming and yelling at something that wasn't there for a long time before guards came in and sedated him.
