"This is the one. I love it. Don't you just love it?" My client squealed as she awaited the approval from her friends.

"OMG Chelsea that's totally the one," one said.

"Rob is going to die when he sees you." A blonde girl said.

"You look so beautiful." Another older one said, which  I'm guessing is the mother by the resemblance and the way the tears ran down her cheeks.

Which she truly did. The dress fit her perfectly and was even in her price range. It made me think of my own future wedding. I would've planned it myself of course and I would be marrying the kindest, thoughtful, man in the world, my Jack.

Just the thought of him made my stomach churn with butterflies. We've been together for three years and I just knew he was close to popping the question.

"Well, what do you think Ms. Mitchell?" My client asked snapping me out of my daydream. When I looked at her face she was staring at me with those big, brown, innocent eyes.

"Your mom is right. You look absolutely stunning. But there's just one thing missing." I say while walking to the different accessories that were placed in my drawer. Pulling out the veil that she had been eyeing, I walked up to her and pinned it into her hair.

"Now it's perfect," I reassured her with a warm smile.

"You're right. I'll talk this one." She said.

"Excellent choice. Now just let me unzip you and we can talk about any changes you would like to make regarding the dress."

"Okay."

After another hour of tape measuring and bra selections, I officially had yet another happy customer.

"Now if you have anything else you might have questions on feel free to call me, "I say as she and her squad exit the store.

Finally. I've been on my feet all day and I could feel my toes begin to protest. With a sigh, I walked into my office and plopped down in my chair. Before I could even take get three breaths, here comes my assistant, Megan, and two steps behind her my best friend, Melanie.

"Mrs. Mitchell, Melanie is here." She says before being pushed aside by my crazy friend.

"Ang come on girl it's time for lunch and I don't want to hear any whining. You've already blown me off the last three times and I'm not taking no for an answer." She says while pulling my arm.

This ladies and gentlemen is my lovely, firecracker of a best friend Melanie. We've been friends for as long as I can remember and I love her to death. With that being said, sometimes she can be the biggest pain in my ass that could possibly exist.

"But I'm tired," I said and lay my head on my desk. "Plus my feet are killing me. Can't we just reschedule?" I beg

"No. No more rescheduling. I'm not one of your clients dammit!" she says with her hands on her hips. "That's what take out is for anyway. Which should be here any second." She finishes with a triumphant smile.

"Fine, but I'm not getting up. My feet feel like they're about to explode."

"Knowing this would happen, I took the liberty of getting you these." She says while reaching inside of her purse and pulling out my coziest pair of cheetah print slippers.
