I winced in pain as I touched my bruised stomach. It has turned a dark purple mixed with black. I touched it once more, barely meeting contact, but almost cried out in pain. I'm tired, sore, and hungry, not to mention thirsty. Sure, if I had my powers I could make water appear out of the air, but my powers are very weak in here, if not dead. I pulled the shirt of my hospital outfit back down, already sick and tired of this place. I gently moved my hand up to the metal wire around my neck, I touched it quickly, expecting it to shock me, but it didn't. I didn't want to take any chances though, so I put my hands to my sides. I began watching the people again, especially the one that worked on me yesterday. I began imagining him catching on fire, from an expirement gone wrong, and the thought pleased me. He suddenly turned around and began walking towards my capsule. I dropped my gaze from him intimadated. He unlocked my capsule and glared at me to get out. I quickly went to the station where we were yesterday, and stood there, still not imagining of cooperating. He looked at his clipboard with a sigh.

"I'm going to try again. Name now, or you know what will happen." he said in an exasperated voice. He waited, but I knew I shouldn't give him my name. Instead I said something else.

"You know, food and water would be nice." He looked up, rather surprised. He called out to someone else.

"Max, get me a glass of water." Then he paused. "The dirtier stuff though." Max, (I'm guessing) looked confused but obeyed his orders. "Okay, someone else is getting you water you brat." he said irritated. "Now, answer my question." I folded my arms across my chest, wincing when I accidentally touched my stomach. I tried to play it off cool but he saw right through me. He pulled up my shirt and examined it with a satisfied smile.

"Glad it hurts." He said meanly. How sick is he? He put back down my shirt, and I remained silent, making it clear I wasn't talking until I got my water. Max returned with the water, and I quickly chugged it down, despite its condition. It was brownish, and burned my throat, but it was water. It is good enough for me. "Okay, you've had your water, now answer." Instead, being courageous, I threw the glass at his head shattering it to pieces.

"You little!" He didn't finish his sentance before he tackled me to the floor. He was ontop of me, placing several punches to my face and stomach. Suddenly he was off of my still yelling, and I vaguely saw a few scientists take him off of me.

The pain.

It was unbearable.

For a moment I thought he had stabbed my stomach, only to realize he hadn't.

I lay there, howling in pain. I threw up, making it hurt even more. After hours I was laying in puddles of puke and blood I threw up. I felt two scientists lift me up onto a gurney and wheel me somewhere, though everything was blurry from the loss of blood. They placed something to my stomach and I screamed out in pain. It was some kind of ointment and it did help ease my pain, but not by much. They placed me back into my capsule, and then I cried myself to sleep.
