Grilly Tail

Part 1

"Zzzzzzz" snored a blonde  boy, sprawled out on his bed. The sun was just starting to rise when his alarm began blaring. It was 6am, his dog Yume barked with the clock, trying to wake him. "mmm!" he grunted turning to his side and trying to turn off the clock. Yume hopped into his bed and pushed her head against his stomach, knocking him off the bed. "AHhh!" He exclaimed as he hit the floor with a thud.  "OW! Yume! Bad girl!" He scolded. Yume whimpered and tucked her tail between her legs.

**Yume's POV**

'But-but-but, master you told me to do this last night.' I whimpered, well aware that he wouldn't understand me while in this form.  My master's name is Grian, we live here in some town in Japan with his two friends Sam and Taurtis. I'm a wolf or well wolf dog? I don't really know. Since I am not a normal wolf dog. I can shift into a human kind of- I still keep my tail, ears,feet paws and eyes of this form. Grian got up off the floor and sighed. "I can't stay mad at you Yume." he said, giving me his usual grin and a pet to my head. I couldn't help but wag my tail.

"Grian! What was that loud thud?!" Shouted a familiar voice. Not even a few seconds after shouting that, Samgladiator came bursting through the door. I growled, my fur standing on end.
I never liked Sam, for being so mean to Grian at times. Or insulting him whenever Grian said anything.

"Grian! Get your dog! She's going to kill me!" He exclaimed, holding a chair between him and me.

Grian simply laughed at Sam's predicament. "I don't know. Maybe I should let her bite your Achilles tendon."

'Yes let me bite him!' I barked happy to oblige.

"GRIAN?! D:" Sam yelled, climbing onto the chair, thinking just that little height increase could keep me from getting him.

Grian sighed. "Fine. Down Yume girl, maybe next time. When he absolutely deserves it. Which shouldn't be too long." He said.

"hmph fine." I grunted, moving to sit next to Grian. It was his first day at his new school at Akademi High. According to him he has been here before... in another timeline, I am not sure what he meant by that. Several years ago we had lived in England with his parents. But their divorce had him come here. At least now he is happier, when he was younger, all he wanted was to go back home and see his parents again... to be a happy family again.

Little does he know that I enrolled there as a student for my human like form, so I can keep watch over him. And since he doesn't know what I look like in that form, he will never know!

In half an hour, He and his friends were all ready for school and headed on out. "Ok be good Yume. And watch the house ok?" He said kneeling to me and gave me a good pet. I wagged my tail and licked his face. He still tasted like soap from washing his face. 'bleck' I coughed. He laughed. And just like that he was out the door.

'Ok then now to get ready myself!' I barked and ran to the bathroom..
