Grilly Tail

Part 3

*Grian's POV*

'Man I will never get use to Rowan's constant shouting...' I thought as we entered the shop near the school. We usually did this so to grab something to eat on the way. The selection was limited in way of snacks, but the shop was well supplied with fish products. I didn't mind as I am a fan of fish n chips to begin with. Having made my selections and standing in line at the register, I began to look out the door of the shop for a moment.

And in that moment I watched Mrs. Okami and Rowan walk on by. Followed by 3 kids. One was a boy who I don't really remember well, but due to his similar appearence to Rowan he had to be his son. I knew one of the girls though, it was Silly. I couldn't help but smile seeing her. 'I know it has been a while since what happened in elementary school... but I am glad she is alright.' I thought, blushing only slightly.

The other girl though, she must be a new student. Certianly unique have silvery wolf tail and ears, but to be fair one of the female students in our school is an anthropomorphic owl..

Silly and this new girl were talking and laughing as they entered the shop. "Don't take too long Silly! Don't want to be late to your mother's class!" Mrs. Okami shouted.

"Yes Mom! I won't be late!" Silly shouted back, before returning to her conversation with the new girl. As I watched her for a few minutes, I noticed that she glanced at me and immediately looked away. 'Huh what was that about.. well I was staring so it is my fault there.' I thought looking back at Sam and Taurtis who were speaking Japanese to Crab Man Carl. He seemed.. terrifiyed for some reason?

*Silly's POV*

'Why was he staring at me!? Did I look funny?' I thought making sure my uniform didn't look weird. I let out a sigh of relief, my new friend Yui tilted her head and her ears twitched. "Are you alright Silly?" She asked seemingly concerned.

"Oh! Yes I'm fine. Just uh..." I said, looking back towards Grian, who was on his way out of the shop. Yui seemed to follow my gaze and had a sly grin on her face.

"Oh hohoho.  So you must like that one eh?" She asked. Even though I just met her today, I had no reason to fear her. She didn't seem like a bad person at all. And I didn't have that many friends, sure there was owl, yuki and sooki but I never really felt like I was friends with them. More like I was always around them due to school.

With a nod, I confirmed to her that I did have an interest in Grian.. and as a way of telling myself it is time to make my own real friend.
