-Opinion: Beautiful piece of work! To any BlackIce fans, you must read this story. It's the best BlackIce fanfic I've ever read on Ao3, because of its realism and accuracy. Not to mention the heartwarming moments, goofy, and tragic as well; it's like a written eye-catching 2-hour long movie.
I'd also like to point out that, I've mostly been associated with the movie alone, not the book series - though I was interested, but too lazy to look into. So, when I read this (being a combination of both movie and book), I actually learned a whole lot of things without really realizing it. Everything I learned, being from the book adaptation, was so awesome! Like warrior Pitch for example ;)
